Chase's POV
I finally told Marshall I loved him. It was a long time coming. After he said it too he passed out from exhaustion.

Skye: he deserves to rest after a fight like that.

Zuma: I can't believe he's a vampire, he must have had such a tough life.

Skye: yeah...he's done some things he isn't proud of...but he's working to repent.

Rubble: wait if Marshall's a vampire how old is he?

Skye: he's over 100.

Zuma: 100!

Rocky: doesn't that mean...he'll out live us all?

Skye: Rocky!

Rocky realised that it must have been an upsetting thought for me. I know Marshall's going to out live me...it's just how it.

Rocky: sorry Chase...

Chase: it's okay... I'm fully prepared for the future. I asked him out knowing that fact.

Rubble: but what it...Marshall made you into a vampire?

Chase: I...Rubble that's genius!

Skye: I'm surprised it took us this long to think of that.

Marshall's POV

I woke up a few minutes after passing out.

Marshall: oh sorry everyone I just have over did it today.

Chase: Marshall...I was wondering...would you be able to turn me into a...vampire

What! Turn Chase...I love Chase so much...I'd give anything to be with him for eternity but...this life I'm living...it's a curse. And I wouldn't wish it on someone I hate never mind someone I love.

Marshall: Chase...I...I can't do that.

Chase: why?

Skye: you two could be together for eternity then.

Marshall: This life...no this after life i'm living...it's a curse. I can't taste any food that isn't blood, I can't be around blood for more than 30 seconds without wanting to kill someone, I can't drink regular water-

Chase: you can't drink water?

Marshall: yeah...Ryder dissolves blood pill into water to remove the toxic properties.

Zuma: what happens if you drink normal water?

Marshall: it dissolves my stomach. Of course I heal but it hurts so much. Chase...I would never want to put you through that.

Chase: but you cope with this?

Marshall: I've had 100 years to cope with it.

Chase: Marshall I just-

Marshall: end of discussion!

Chase's POV

Marshall walked away.

Rubble: he does make it sound like hell.

Chase: I swear...I do t care what I have to do...I'll find a way to live as long as Marshall.

Skye: I'll go talk to Marshall.

Skye's POV

I found Marshall by his favourite tree. Thankfully he wasn't self harming.

Skye: hey Marsh.

Marshall: you get where I'm coming from right?

Skye: yeah...but I also get where Chase is coming from...the two of you have a unique opportunity to be together for the rest of time.

Marshall: I know Chase is prepared for it but...I'm not...the only pleasure in being a vampire is drinking blood. Is eternal life worth losing all other pleasures for?

I laughed.

Skye: Marshall, think about it. You enjoy a lot of things...you love playing with us all, you love saving people, you love singing, and most importantly...you love Chase. Maybe because you were alone for so long you thought being a Vampire was only about drinking blood and killing but...if you're there for Chase...I'm sure he won't suffer like you did for all those years.

Marshall: your right...I just want more time with Chase as a mortal.

Marshall and I walked back to everyone.

Marshall: Chase...Skye convinced me...I'd love to spend eternity with you but...

Chase: but?

Marshall: I want just...a little more time with you are a mortal...please give me 5 years.

Chase: Five years! Marshall anything could happen in five years!

Marshall: fine...give me a year. How about...on the day of your birthday.

Chase: why then?

Marshall: your birthday marks the start and end of your life as a mortal. And then it will mark your undeath as a vampire.

Rocky: it's pretty poetic.

Chase: fine Marshall...I think that idea.

Marshall: I actually don't know my real birthday so I just celebrate the day I became a vampire instead.

Zuma: wait so this year we celebrated your death ?

Marshall laughed

Marshall: yeah.

Chase's POV

This is it...a little over a year and I'll be a vampire...bound to this world with Marshall.

Chase: I want you to promise me something.

Marshall: what's that?

Chase: if I end up dying before then...move on and be happy...but if your there when I'm dying...turn me into a vampire.

Marshall: I...deal
