Marshall's POV

Chase and I walked over to the bar again

Chase: hey babe what's the plan?

Marshall: Hmm...*whispers in Chase's ear*

Chase: You sure that's kinda risky?

Marshall: yeah trust me Dracula seems like that kind of guy.

Chase: if you say so babe.

Seris and Stoker then joined us.

Stoker: hey guys you planning for the finals?

Marshall: We've got our plan just hoping things work out now.

Seris: Well you've got 30 mins till the next round good luck.

Lazarus and Luther were giving me a death stare but I couldn't care less. They may have had their powers longer than me but I've definitely had more combat exercises over my 100 years compared them

Stoker: They're pissed.

Chase: Sour losers.

Dracula then came out of nowhere and sat beside me and Chase. I was completely surprised. I couldn't smell him prior to him sitting and Chase seemed equally shocked.

Dracula: hey boys let's try enjoy ourselves.

He was clearly trying to spook us before the match.

Dracula: I'm assuming you couldn't sense me.

Marshall: how did you hide your presence?

Dracula: heh... makes sense you don't know about "mask"

Marshall: elaborate.

Dracula: a vampire technique nobles and royalty can use to hide their presence. It's one of the 5 powers we're able to learn.

Chase: what are the others?

Dracula: there's "Search", "Pressure", "Aura" and "Unique" so far non of my kids have managed to learn a them all

Marshall: I'm assuming as king you know them all?

Dracula: Yes. In fact if you win the match I'll teach you more.

Dracula then walked away from the table.

Chase's POV

We spent the remainder of our time taking amongst ourselves.

Dealer: the finals will now begin. May his Majesty and his opponents join me.

We walked over and took out seats at the new table.

Dealer: this round will be different to the previous games. You will now be playing normal Texas hold em'. The rules remain in place however. No interfering with the cards before they're dealt.

Marshall and I knew there was no point manipulating the card's now given that Dracula would be able to tell. I hope Marshall knows what he's doing.

Dealer: We will also have no limit to rounds. Team Bullets and his Majesty will receive 100 chips to bet and the player with all the chips at the end will be the victor.

The dealer dealt Marshall and I one card each and two for Dracula. He then revealed the A♠️, 3♦️ and Q♥️.

Me and Marshall had the A♥️ and 4♦️

Dealer: place your bets now.

We already had a pair so we placed 5 chips. Dracula bet 20. We're so fucked!

The dealer flipped over the 4th card revealing the A♣️

Dealer: place your bets.

we placed 5 more chips but Dracula placed 20 more. The dealer then revealed the final card hing the 7♥️

Dealer: place your final bets.

We then placed 5 more chips to which Dracula placed another 20. Meaning he had only 40 left to our 85

Dealer: reveal your hands.

Marshall: Three or a kind.

Dracula laughed.

Dracula: hehe I've got no match.

We were both confused. Why would be make a bluff like that. Did he think we'd fold?

Dracula: congrats, the first round goes to you.

The next round me and Marshall only had a pair to the kinds 4 of a kind.

Marshall: Chase do you trust me?

Chase: umm yeah why?

Marshall: just go along with what I do next.

Dracula: ah a plan?

The dealer dealt the card but we both placed our face down so we couldn't see them to witch Dracula also did.

Dracula: it's amazing Marshall...I see you think just like me.

Marshall: all in.

Dracula: yes...yes!!!

Dracula became engulfed in darkness.

Dracula: this is the only was this game can end! Leave it completely to fate! Will you get your answers! Or will toy forever not know!

I looked over at Marshall. He smiled and suddenly became shrouded in darkness.

Marshall: My thoughts exactly!

Dracula: All in!

Dealer: in that case I shall reveal the 2 remains cards. We now have the A♠️, 7♥️, 9♣️, 6♠️ and 5♥️.

Marshall's and Dracula's darkness' began to enter twine and gush all over the casino.

They both flipped over their cards and the darkness immediately disappeared.

Dracula: three of a kind, 9♥️, 9♦️ and 9♠️

Marshall: Straight... 5♥️, 6♠️, 7♥️ and 8♠️

The crowd was silent.

Dealer: Team bullets are victorious.

Dracula: Congratulations young Vampire and Wolf pup.

Chase: we did it babe!

I kissed Marshall, we were both thrilled.

Dracula: Come to my office tonight and I'll give you all your answers. Dracula walked away.

Marshall's POV

I did it, I'm gonna find out who my mum and dad were.

Marshall: I couldn't have done it with you Chase.

Seris: that was amazing, Dad's never lost.

Stoker: how did you do it?

Marshall: I figured there's no vampire of werewolf tactic we could use to beat him, so we played the game how mortals intended it to be played.

Lazarus: I must admit...you played an excellent match.

Luther: Congratulations are indeed in order.

Marshall: We'll be back later tonight for my answers.
