To the readers who have made it this far, I absolutely need you to understand that I had every intention of continuing this story. When I had written it for Wattpad, with no initial plans to publish it on my own, I had two more books planned. Marked was supposed to be the beginning of the trilogy. But in the midst of self-publishing, all of my excitement for this book diminished, and it became excruciatingly hard to continue writing it.
So I want to apologize to everyone who has reached this point, and who hopes for another book in this trilogy. Because Marked, the Oirthir Trilogy, will not continue. It still hurts, and I have still carry regret for pushing too quickly with the self-publishing, that I don't think I can ever find the ability to find the excitement I once held for this book.
At least, not with this storyline. If I were to continue this story, I would have to start from the very beginning. The world in which this story takes places would still exist, but I would have to create something entirely new. Something that excites me. So--there is hope to see them again.
What happens now? I'm not sure; although I know that this is the end of this story, this iteration, I don't believe that this is not entirely the end of this world.
