Chapter 3 A New Enemy(Editted)

Y/N POV

My sleep had become restless. It felt like there was someone watching me from the corner of my room. Everything was telling me to keep my eyes shut but slowly I crept them open. My breath caught as I saw a dark figure standing in the fair corner of my room. The figure was just a black shadow with piercing green eyes. I almost thought it was the grim reaper coming to visit me except this thing scared me. I wanted to run but it felt as if something heavy was sitting on top of my chest. The figure was moving closer to me, never taking its green eyes off me. 

Its shadowy hand was stretched out towards me. My heart was pounding in my chest as the shadow moved closer and closer. Just before it reached me I regained the ability to move. I let out a loud scream that filled the house that caused the shadow to vanish. Once the scream left my lips the sound of footsteps quickly approached my room. Izuku didn’t knock as he barged into my room. 

"What's wrong" Izuku panicked as he enter scanned the room

"I-I saw a shadow figure in the corner" I was saying through shaky breaths while still trying to calm myself 

Izuku looked around the room but there was nothing to see as the shadow was gone. He gave me a pitiful look before sitting next to me on my bed.

"You've been through a lot and I'm also sure you are nervous about going back to school all this stress most caused you to have a nightmare" he tries to reassure me

"B-but it felt so real," I said as my breath finally steady

"But it wasn't-” Izuku try to reassure me “-If it happens again just tell yourself that it's not real”

I was still unsure about it just being a nightmare; it felt more like a bad omen.

"We still have a few hours before we need to get ready for school. Why don’t I stay and lay down on the floor just in case you have another nightmare" Izuku subjected 

"Yes please"

Now that I was calmed I finally noticed that Izuku was only wearing sweatpants with no shirt. I blushed and turned away from him. 

"Um, Izuku maybe you should put a shirt on," I said

Izuku stood up and rushed out of the room, returning shortly with an All Might hoodie on.

"I'm sorry I had forgotten I didn't have a shirt on. It's just when I heard you scream I rushed to you without covering up first" he explained

"It's okay-" I said as I watched Izuku lay down with a single blanket which made me feel bad “-Izuku you can lay beside me. The floor can’t be comfortable”

He blushed “Only if you are okay with it” 

I gave him a nod so he got off the floor. Izuku laid down beside me but he didn’t make a movement to get under my covers. Instead he laid on top of my covers as he used the blanket he brought to cover up with. Now that Izuku was beside me I was able to drift off to sleep forgetting about the green eye shadow. 

IZUKU POV

I couldn’t sleep not withY/n sleeping beside me. Everything about her was cute. Her eyes were cute. Her hair was cute. Her nose was cute. Her lips were cute. I blushed as I looked at her lips. A sudden urge to kiss them took over me. I knew I shouldn’t but I couldn’t stop myself. I moved slowly as I placed a kiss on her lips. It only lasted a second as I pulled away from her to hide my face in a pillow. My face was on fire as I hid it. We shared our first kiss. I was certain it wouldn’t be our last since we were meant to be together.
