I woke up before Harry early in the morning. I was almost finished packing up Hagrid's sausages and tea into the boat when Harry started to toss and turn.

"It was a dream," Harry was talking to himself firmly. "I dreamed a giant called Hagrid came to tell me I was going to a school for wizards. When I open my eyes I'll be at home in my cupboard." I poked Harry's cheek and he swatted me away. I poked him again on the cheek again but a little harder. "All right," Harry mumbled, "I'm getting up." He sat up the blankets falling off him.

"Morning sleepyhead," I said and smiled under my hood. An owl flew down and I held out my arm for it to land on. Hagrid was still asleep on the couch inside so I took the newspaper from them and reached inside my cloak for five Knuts. "That should be enough, right?" I asked the owl which nodded and the owl held out their leg so I could put the money into a small leather pouch tied to it. Then they flew off into the sky. Harry looked confused at the interaction, not so much the owl but the money.

"Wizard currency is different from muggle. Here, you can give it back later." I tossed Harry a few random coins I had in my pocket which he was turning over and looking at. But soon after his smile went away.

Hagrid came out holding his coat in a panic. "Harry's gon-" He stopped mid-word as he saw Harry and me. He smirked at and I threw the Daily profit at his face hitting him in his nose. "Best be off, Harry, lots ter do today, gotta get up ter London an' buy all yer stuff fer school."

"Um, (Y/N)?" Harry said.

"Yeah Harry," I said folding up the blankets we'd used and putting them in my bag.

"We've got a problem, I haven't got any money and you heard Uncle Vernon last night . . . he won't pay for me to go and learn magic." I laughed and Hagrid answered Harry for me.

"Don't worry about that," said Hagrid, scratching his head. "D'yeh think yer parents didn't leave yeh anything?"

"But if their house was destroyed —"

"They didn' keep their gold in the house, boy! Nah, first stop fer us is Gringotts. Wizards' bank. Have a sausage, they're not bad cold — an' I wouldn' say no teh a bit o' yer birthday cake, neither."

"Wizards have banks?" Harry said confused and turned to me.

"Obviously but only one. It's called Gringotts and is Run by goblins." I responded

"Goblins? Like the ones from those weird stories, you used to tell me. Does that mean they're real? What about Dragons and your best friend the centaur." Harry bombarded me with questions.

"One at a time Harry please, Yes Goblins are real and run the bank so people would have to be crazy to try robbing it." I finished packing up the blankets and was finishing up everything that needed to be in the boat.

Hagrid took over the conversation. "Gringotts is the safest place in the world fer anything yeh want ter keep safe —'cept maybe Hogwarts. As a matter o' fact, I gotta visit Gringotts anyway. Fer Dumbledore. Hogwarts business." Hagrid drew himself up proudly. "He usually gets me ter do important stuff fer him. Fetchin' you — gettin' things from Gringotts — knows he can trust me, see."

I put the last thing in the boat which was my bag and put a thumbs up to Hagrid. "Got everythin'? Come on, then." We all got into the now kinda cramped boat and Hagrid untied the boat, I also 'accidentally' put a hole in the Dursleys boat.

We rowed away from the house, it was painfully slow and boring. I'd given Harry the box of pastry's which he thought were amazing but it was still so slow and I was losing patience. "Screw this, Harry don't speak of any magic we used ok?" I wobbly stood up in the boat and put my hands out to either side of the boat.
