Description: so pretend that when Keith gets back from the blade there is no lotor and it's all good.

Notes: no lotor Keith gets back and kosmo responds to Keith's emotions and he can read Keith's mind (like melog if you watch shera)

Keith has been back with the palidins for a few weeks now. Krolia went back to help the blade. The palidins let Keith slide seamlessly back into their lives. Lance seemed different though. He was almost always around Keith, always talking to him, and near him. Like he couldn't get enough.

Keith didn't seem to mind. Kosmo was always with lance too. Laying on his lap or playing with him in kaltanecker's field. Lance loved him and kosmo liked Lance more than even Keith.

Keith and kosmo were laying in Keith's room talking. Kosmo could read Keith's mind and vice versea so they could converse.

"You're stealing lance from me." Keith said bitterly.

I respond to your emotions so it's your fault that I like him.

"Don't blame this on me." Kosmo gave Keith a look
"Alright fine so I'm in love with him. That does not give you the right to take him from me."

Well if he likes me better than there's nothing I can do. Kosmo told him, smugness dripping from his voice.

Keith huffed and rolled over. Kosmo flopped over on him.

Don't be like that keithy. You're still number 2 in my heart.

"I hate you." Keith muttered. It was a lie of course.

Love you too. Kosmo snickered.

"Keith!" There was a knock on his door and allura vocie.

Keith got up and opened the door. "Hey allura. What's up?"

"I've had a realization." She said. "Kosmo Responds to your emotions right?"

"Yes?" Keith responds, curiously. "Why?"

"Well I've noticed that kosmo is very close to lance. And I found that strange knowing that you and lance hate each other. So ive started to wonder and I have come to an odd conclusion." Allura said, fiddling with her fingers.

At this point keith didn't know if it was kosmo or him own voice. It's didn't really matter.

"Keith, are you in love with lance?" She finally said.

"What no no I'm not!" Keith said blushing furiously.

"Whatcha talking about?" Lance.

Fuck. That was for sure keith.

"N-n-nothing." Keith stuttered, scratching the back of his neck.

Lance gave him an odd look. "Are you ok?"

"Yes he is fine. Well talk to you in a bit." Allura said dragging Keith away by his sleeve. Keith helplessly waved at lance before he was dragged around the corner.

"What was that?" Keith asked, confused. 

"What was that? You're so in love with him it's obvious."

"I am not!" Keith said defensesly.

She rolled her eyes and looked at him with a give me a break look.

"Ok fine I've been in love with him for like 6 years." He said crossing his arms.

"Ha! I knew it!" She smiled.

"Don't seem so happy about it." Keith mumbled.

"Why not? He obviously loves you too."

"He does?" Keith looked up in confusion. "Not possible." He shook us head adamantly.

"Whatever you say." Allura said as she patted his shoulder.

She walked away with a smug smile on her face, leaving Keith stuttering and confused.

Lance walked over, "what was that all ahouy?" He asked.

"Nothing she just wanted to talk about feeling."

"Oh hid that must have been horrible." Lance chuckled.

Keith shivered. "It was."

During The next few Keith and allura grew closer, talking about lance most of the time. Allura loved to tell Keith what he should do about his crush and Keith loved to ignore her.

Lance and the others had started to notice that Keith and allura were getting closer.

One day they were siting in the living room (idk) playing monsters and maina. Lance seemed to be in a particularly bad mood. Everyone was pretty sure it was due to allura. Allura was laying on the couch with her head in Keith's lap. (Ik it's killing me too but don't worry it's not romantic) Keith was putting her hair into a bunch of small braids as they played. Lance scowled at them. Everyone noticed how mad lance was except for Keith and allura. And everyone thought he was jealous of Keith for hanging out with allura. Only lance knew it was the other way around.

Kosmo lifted his head from his spot next to Keith to look at lance.

Keith glanced at kosmo in confusion as he pawed over to lance and jumped on his lap. Lance furrowed his brow at the wolf but stroked his fur causeing kosmo to lightly growl. Lance shot a worried look at Keith.

"Don't worry. That's his happy growl. He likes you." Lance looked confused but happy.

Keith shrugged. "Don't ask me I don't know why."

Allura gave Keith a knowing look. She leaned over and whispered in Keith's ear.

"Cause you loooove him!" She whispered in a song-song voice.

"Shut up allura!" Keith said, pushing her off of him.

Lances sudden lift of mood diminished. No one noticed.

"Lance! Wait up!" Keith said, catching up with lance as he left the living room.

"What do you want?" He said bitterly.

"Woah! Whats up with you?"

"What's up with me?! What's up with you? Why are you and allura suddenly super cuddly?" Lance said. Keith was sure that he could hear his heart break. Lance was upset because Keith was close with allura and lance likes allura. Keith held in tears. Pathetic he thought I'm pathetic

"We're friends." Keith said softly, no fire or anger behind his words. Lance seemed to notice.

"From that tone I assume you want to be more." Lance said with disgust.

"You're such an idiot, lance!" Keith yelled. "Why can't you see it?" He said, Softer.

"See what?" Lance asked, oblivious.

"IM NOT IN LOVE WITH ALLURA! IM IN LOVE WITH YOU!"

Lance stood there in shock.

"Lance say something." Keith whispered.

He didn't.

"Say something!"

Lance still didn't say anything. He took a few steps to Keith and grabbed the front of his shirt, pulling kieth to him and kissing him passionately.

Keith was frozen for a second before he realized what was happening. But it took less than a second for him to kiss back.

They broke apart from the kiss and leaned their foreheads against one another.

"I love you too keith."

Hey guys! I hope you like this one better than the first one shot because I sure did. I think this one had more klance and I honestly prefer the one shots where they get together than the fluffy ones where they already are together. Tho there will be a few of those. Well thanks for reading!
