you had skipped school today.
you weren't feeling good physically and mentally.
but it's not uncommon to miss school when you're not well.
what wasn't normal and made your boyfriend, oikawa, worried was that you hadn't texted him at all.
he figured you weren't gonna be at school today because he didn't see you by the school gate in the morning.
that was where you two met up each day.
but when you were gonna miss school, you usually texted him.
not today though.
today was the first time you didn't tell him.
he didn't wanna assume the worst so he just tried not to think about it.
he was very protective and caring of you and had a tendency to overthink things.
he pushed the thought of why you could possibly not have texted to the side and tried to continue the day.
but he couldn't help but still want to worry and check on you.
it bothered him so much that he even slacked on volleyball which is usually the only thing going through that pretty head of his.
iwaizumi noticed and reassured him that your probably fine and just sleeping in.
but it kept bothering him.
so he decided to message you.
OIKAWA
hey princess:)
i saw you're not at school today so i just wanted to see if your alright
no response.
he tried to reassure himself that you were just sleeping in like iwa said.
he went on with his day though but all he did was think about you.
meanwhile back at your house you tossed and turned in bed.
you had woken up really early and couldn't get back to sleep.
but you didn't want to get up and do anything.
your entire body felt heavy.
like you physically couldn't move even if you wanted to.
you saw that your boyfriend texted you but you couldn't find the energy to text him back.
so you just laid in bed until noon rolled around.
you finically decided to get up and shower.
you turned on the water and got undressed.
you turned to face the mirror and started at yourself.
you poked at your stomach then all of a sudden the terrible thoughts started to pop up.
"ew"
"why do i look like this"
"i look so ugly"
they just continued, making you feel worse.
you tired to ignore them and got in the shower.
you stood under the hot water, letting it soak your hair and run along your body.
it felt like waves crashing over you.
you felt stuck in a storm.
you felt like you got hit by a truck.
it all felt so overwhelming.
then it started to pour out.
the tears started coming.
you were bawling and didn't know why.
but it felt good to get it out.
you sat down in the tub letting the water run over you as your tears continued to run down your face.
after a couple of minutes you calmed down and stood back up.
you finished showering, got out, and got dressed.
you went back to your bed and laid down.
back to school.
oikawa was sitting in his last class staring at the clock.
he begged the time to pass by faster to go see you.
eventually school ended and he rushed out of class and began his way to your house.
he stopped by the convenience store and picked up a few of your favorite snacks and drink.
after not too long he finally arrived to his destination.
he rung the doorbell and your mom answered.
"hello mrs.l/n(last name). is y/n here?" oikawa asked.
"yes she's upstairs in her room" your mother said letting him in.
he walked up the stairs and reached your room.
he gently knocked on the door.
"come in" he heard your voice say.
he opened the door and stepped in, closing it behind him.
"hey princess" oikawa said smiling at you.
you sat up to look at him.
"hey baby" you replied with a small smile.
just seeing him already made you feel a little better.
"i didn't see you at school and you didn't text me so i came over to see if your okay"
"oh yeah i'm fine just tired"
"well i'm glad your okay. have you eaten today?" he asked.
"no i haven't" you replied turning your head down.
oikawa walked over to your bed and sat next to you.
"it's alright, i got something for you"
he pulled out the snacks and drink he got for you.
a huge smile formed on your face and you gave him a big hug.
"thank you babyyy. you're so sweet" you said.
"you're welcome. so what would you like to do?" he said.
"how about movie and cuddles?"
"that sounds like a great idea"
the two of you put on a movie, got cuddled up and ate the snacks oikawa bought.
after the movie was about an hour in you had fallen asleep.
oikawa looked down at you and gave a kiss on your forehead.
"i don't know how i got so lucky. i'm so happy i ended up with such an amazing girlfriend like you y/n" oikawa said to himself.
he closed his eyes and not too long after he fell asleep cuddled up right next to you.
