I said, ''Uhm, what's the result?'' The doctor replied, ''I'm sorry Mrs. Park but you are not pregnant.''
My world stopped. My dreams shattered. I was hoping a child but I'm not pregnant. This shouldn't have happened. I'll pass out. This is really melancholic. I hate my life.
I looked at Jimin. His face was completely blank. He must have been feeling crestfallen. Tears formed in my eyes. They rolled down.
I felt a pair of arms around me. Jimin hugged me tightly. He said, ''Don't be despair Y/N. This is something which is not in our hands. Cheer up. Let's go shopping!''
I wiped my tears and said, ''I just want to go home. I need some sleep.'' Jimin nodded and we drove back home.
I was bit exhausted mentally so I just took a nap. I woke up after an hour. I walked into the living room. Jimin was wearing an apron and said with a smile, ''Honey, you are awake! I've a surprise for you. I cooked pasta for you.'' I hugged him.
The pasta was really finger-licking. I said, ''Jimin you didn't have to do all this.'' He replied, ''I need to take your care. Appeal someone I love. I know the day was a bit depressing for you. I need to enliven you. I love you so much.'' I replied, ''I love you more.''
Time skip.
Y/N pov:
It was a regular routine. I just hate Mondays. I went to the office with Jimin. I entered my cabin. Seokjin and Tae were already there.
I greeted both of them. Seokjin said, ''Mrs. Park, you need to manage everything. I'm about to leave. I've done all the files for today. I'm taking two days off from work. Bye. Call up if you need any help.''
I smiled and said, ''Ok. Thank you so much for doing the files.'' Seokjin left. I caught Tae staring at me. He quickly dropped his eyes to the floor and said, ''Y/N, so I'm considering opening a new jewellery showroom. So what are your views about it?''
I said, ''Well, at present I don't think it's a great idea. Keeping in mind how less spare time you have, you will not be completely able to manage it. Jewellery showrooms require a lot of attention. I don't advise opening.''
He replied, ''Yeah, you are right.'' Then there was complete silence. He said, breaking the silence, ''Y/N are you pregnant?''
I said coldly, ''It's none of your business.'' He said, ''No I will have to arrange for maternity leave. That's the only reason I'm asking.''
I dropped my eyes and said, ''No. I'm not.'' He didn't say anything more about it. There was again silence. He was collecting all the papers and files, about to leave the cabin.
He said in a deep voice, ''Y/N I'm really sorry. I still love you the same as I did years before. Maybe back then, a little, if I had not left you, then everything would be different now. I'm crying over the mistake I did. Moreover, it was the biggest sin ever. But we have fallen apart. I'm just left alone in the lonely sandcastle, looking at the memories we made and I still want you.''
His eyes were teary and it made me soft. I wanted to kiss him and tell him how much I still love him but that wasn't the best thing.
Tears of misery escaped my eyes. I said in tears, ''Why did you leave me?'' Once again he left the place. Still, my question remains unanswered.
Time Skip:
Y/N's life was becoming almost settled. She was getting along really well in her married life. At times, she would happen to meet Tae and he would just confess his love. But she somehow managed to bear it. She couldn't leave the company because of the contract of three years, which she signed before knowing that Tae would be her boss.
Jimin's pov:
I really don't like Taehyung around Y/N. He is just an idiot. He is just going after her but he won't ever be able to get her because she is just mine.
She loves me. We now even sleep together, he should just back off. Y/N had taken a day off, because she was helping Jungkook and Soul in their wedding planning.
I was about to get into my car, when I happened to meet Taehyung. I greeted, ''Hello Sir.'' He replied, ''Jimin, out of the office , we are friends.'' Both of us, went to a cafe for a some coffee.
I said, ''So what's going on in your life?'' He said, ''How is Y/N doing?'' I replied, ''Forget her. I have won her. You just lost.'' A dejected look was formed on his face.
He said in soft tone, ''I'm still in love with her.'' I replied, ''She is a beautiful woman, with a soft heart but she will never forgive you.''
He said, ''I just want to hear the words from her if she still loves me or not. If she doesn't then I'll live in the glorious memories we created.'' I replied, ''Back off Taehyung. She is my wife. You said that you were a man of words. Keep your promise!''
He dropped his teary eyes and said, ''I shouldn't have promised without thinking. I did so wrong and I'm paying for it. But I don't want to see Y/N away from me. I love her so much. I never did nor will love someone else so much. She is my everything. Y/N, I miss you a lot.''
