She's Gone (sequel to she's yours)

Chapter 5

Gabe looked exactly like Luke, tall for his age, blonde hair, and blue eyed. Luke is such a catch, so I'm not the least bit surprised that Gabe is too.

"Go talk to him?" I half questioned myself. I don't know if I just invited my daughter into heartbreak. She's too little to go through that. No, she's not little, but she's too young to have her heart hurting.

"Are you sure? What if he doesn't like me?" She asked, her eyes scared.

"Then he's stupid. He will love you, everyone does." I smiled and patted her back. She slowly made her way to the bed and sat down next to Gabe, and they made some small talk.

"So Bella, what are you doing tomorrow?" Harmony asked her, clearly noticing that Bella was flirting, as well as a 9 year old can flirt anyway.

"I'm going to my first dance competition in Brisbane! I have 3 dances, a solo, a duet, and a group number." She smiled.

"Oh my! Can anyone come? I'd love to go, how about you Gabe?" Gabe just shrugged.

"Yeah, but Brisbane is far, and not even daddy is going." Bella gave me a death glare.

"Well, I'm willing to take the trip with you." Har smiled.

"Ash, you didn't tell me it was her first competition. We can skip tomorrow. Make it a whole trip for all of us, yeah?" Luke spoke.

"Alrighty then, looks like I'm coming Belly Bell." Bella jumped up from her spot on the bed and attacked me with a hug.

"I love you daddy, I'm glad you're gonna be there." She kissed my cheek and I put her down. "But I have one condition." She crossed her little arms.

"And what's that one condition?" I crossed my arms back, imitating her.

"Uncle Mikey has to come." Luke and I both laughed at her.

"You know he'd die to be there for you." I laughed. Luke, Harmony, Gabe, Bella, Owen and I had dinner and then Bella and Owen and I went back to our house, we had a long day ahead of us.

The next morning was crazy, to say the least. Bella was running wild, looking for different shoes that Owen had taken out of her bag and placed around the house just like little brothers do. The actual competition wasn't until Sunday, but there was a little workshop tonight that she had to attend.

"Bella if you want to make it, we have to leave for the studio now. I got you a banana for breakfast now come on! Owen, get in the car!" I yelled out. Bella and Owen bolted out the door at once. I closed and locked the door behind us and quickly drove off. Bella has the option of taking the bus with her team members, but I don't think she wants to.

"Daddy I have a question." Bella half whispered, like she was embarrassed.

"Yeah Belly Bell?" I looked at her from the rear view mirror.

"If Gabriel is coming on the trip, can he ride the bus with me and Ava please?" She looked at me with pleading eyes.

"No I want Gabe in the car with me!" Owen fought.

"No he likes me better!" Bella argued back.

"Guys, we don't need this today. If it's okay with Harmony, then we'll let Gabe choose, okay?" They both just grunted, so I took that as a yes. We pulled up at the studio and their were parents loading the bus with their children, and almost every other girl was about 12.

"Wow Bella, you dance with these older girls?" I asked.

"Yup, I'm even better than some of them. I work really hard." She smiled, getting out of the car and grabbing her dance bag, and I grabbed her suit case. In the parking lot already was Harmony, Gabe, and Luke together in their car, and Michael in his. I'm glad that we will all be able to scream for Bella and support her through this.

"Hey, Har. Bella was wondering if Gabe would like to ride the bus with her to the competition. Or he can stay with us and Owen. His choice." I winked.

"I think we both know that he should go on the bus with Bella. Gabe has got a little crush on her. It's cute." Harmony laughed.

"Good cause Bella also thinks he's cute. Let me go ask Miss Celeste if it's alright for Gabe to ride the bus with her and I'll help Bella get her bags on the bus, I'll be right back." I rolled the suit case to the bus and put it on the bottom of it, and Bella carried on her bag with her.

"Hello Miss Celeste, how are you?" I greeted her with a hug.

"I'm great! Excited, and a little nervous, but mostly excited. How are you?" She asked.

"I'm good, listen I've got a little question to ask of you." She raised an eyebrow at me, as a signal to go on. "See, my band mate Luke and Bryar's friend Harmony have a kid together, that we just found out about. Could he possibly ride on the bus with Bella instead of on the car ride with us?"

"Wow, that was confusing. But absolutely I don't mind. Anything for my star little dancer." She winked at Bella.

"Thank you so much!" I walked away towards the car and saw Bella and Gabe talking again. I wish I could hate the boy she's talking to, but it was just too cute to stop.

"Daddy, did you ask her?" I nodded. "Does that mean yes?!" She smiled up at me with her hazel eyes that twinkled. I nodded again and she got really excited and jumped around.

"Come on Gabe, you're coming with me!" She took his hand and dragged him onto the bus with her. All he had in his hand was his guitar.

"Bye Daddy!" Bella yelled from the bus door and waved before getting on the bus.

"Our kids are too grown for my liking." Luke appeared behind me.

"Pft, tell me about it." I rolled by eyes and got in the full car with Michael, Luke, Harmony, and Owen, mentally preparing myself for this crazy long drive.

"To Biscuit!" Owen shouted.

"Owen, its Brisbane." Luke playfully punched his shoulder.
