Scarecrow

Jimin comes from a small but happy family which consists of only him,his mom and dad.
They live at the countryside and works as farmer.
Eventhough their lives is simple,but they are happy with it.
Education there is limited so Jimin doesn't have much friends or even have a huge load of knowledge.
For a 5 years old Jimin,knowing how to talk,write and count is already a blessing.
Most of the time,Jimin's parents would try to educate him themself whenever possible.
All of these sounds simple and nice but Jimin is not really happy with it.
He wanted to go out and make new friends but the parents are always there to stop him.
Saying how outside world is dangerous and he might get kidnap easily.
Whenever Jimin starts whining about how bored he gets,his dad would just ask him to go to the barn and play with the horse or something.
Eventhough Jimin loves the horses,he hates being told to go there all the time.
And this time is no difference.

'Go to the barn,Jimin. Maybe you could find something fun'.
That is what his dad said.
Jimin can only pouts as he drags himself to the barn.
As usual,he greets the horses and tries to groom them as he is too short.
After a while of grooming,he got bored and decided to carefully explore every crook and creak of the barn since he never pays any attention.
He decided to start at the inner right corner of the barn.
He can see the woods are quite strong as the barn had been there for around 10 years now.
He slowly trace his small fingers along the wood as he walks around the barn,until he reach a part where the woods are creaking very loudly.
Jimin tries to push it a few times and the wood opens up slowly to reveal a stairs that lead to below.
Jimin got shock and obviously look around for people but he's the only one there with the horses.
He wanted to close the door shut but curiosity kills the cat and Jimin wanted to explore what's below there.
Like his dad said,he might find something fun but Jimin is sure this won't be fun.
He slowly walks down the stairs as it is very dark below.
Once he make sure he reach a stable ground,he touch around for a switch or something.
The switch is not that high up so Jimin manage to find it and turn on the lights.
Jimin was shocked at the sight in front of him.
It's a room made out of bricks with cobweebs covering every corner.
But what's more shocking is there's a scarecrow right in the middle of the room.
The scarecrow is just like any normal scarecrow that is made out of straws and being tied to a wooden stick.
But this one is different.
It has chains bound to it and a cloth tied over his head.
The whole scene screams danger but Jimin is a very kind-hearted and innoncent boy so the first thought that came to his mind is,the scarecrow's shouldn't be tied up.
And whoever that did that is very cruel.
Jimin looks around for a chair.
Once he found it,he drags it towards the scarecrow and climb onto the chair.
Without thinking twice,Jimin pulls the cloth away just to reveal any normal looking scarecrow.
Nothing out of the ordinary but something weird happen.
A small piece of paper fell at the foot of the scarecrow out of nowhere.
Jimin quickly gets down from the chair and pick up the note.

'What are you doing here,little one?'
The words were written in red.

"Who are you?"Jimin asks softly.
Another note appears.

'I'm a spirit that lives in the scarecrow. Now,how about you?'
"I lives here. This barn belongs to my parents. But why are you here?"Jimin stares at the scarecrow with his innoncent stares.
'Well,the people are afraid of me,little one. You shouldn't be here'
"But dad and mom said all the scarecrows are good because they keep the crows away"
'You are a innoncent one,aren't you?'
"What's innoncent,Mr Scarecrow?"
'Yoongi,my name'
"Hi,Mr Yoongi.I'm Jimin,"Jimin giggle as he tries to pat the scarecrow with all the notes in his small hands.
'You should leave,Jimin.It's late and don't come back'
"But why? I wanna be with you. It gets lonely up there sometimes,"Jimin pouts.
'It's dangerous here, little one. I don't want you getting into any trouble'
"I won't. I will be very careful. I will come back tomorrow. Bye bye,Mr Yoongi,"Jimin hugs the scarecrow as he turns around to leave the room.
Once he reach the barn again,he make sure he closes the door quietly so no one would notice.
Jimin stuffs all those notes into his small pocket and hum happily as he skips back to his house.
