chapter 5

at Harith's home. late 5:30 pm

"uncle, what about the ending?  won't you continue? " lily asked curious.
"of course I will continue have some patience" Harith keep his book back at the library to prepare himself cause the kids were curious to know the ending.
"Alex sat beside me" Harith tap a space between him signalling Alex to sit there.
"okay uncle" Alex was happy that he will be sitting beside his uncle while he would tell the story to them.
"is both of you ready? " he said while making sure the kids were  ready.
"yes we are" they said in unison.

during the ball, at castle gorge.

"lady Lina you look young" lady jade said cheerfully when she sees her best friend.
"and you too" lady Lina smiled at her friend and they both hug.
"where is Guinevere and Lancelot? " she asked curiously. she was excited to see her best friends children.
"they will be right here soon" lady Lina assured.
"uh, why don't we go and talk to our other friends? " she suggested.
"sure, why not" lady jade and lady Lina went to their other friends.

meanwhile,

( granger's p. o. v)

"why is there so many people?" he asked to one of the maids.
"there is a celebration party" she told him while she was taking a tray full of juices and cookies.
"let's see" granger peep out of nowhere. he see many people who were well dressed and quite fashionable. he then look to himself in nearby mirror. his clothes was torn, and looks like it was not being washed for at least 3 months.
he run back to the kitchen and began to help the others.

"Guinevere,lancelot" lady Lina chirp when she sees her own children.
Guinevere and Lancelot went to their mother for well wishing.
"this is lady jade queen of the paxley household" she pointed at lady jade. both Guinevere and Lancelot bow down in respect.
"hmmm... looks like I have to introduce my sons now" lady jade says while she call her sons.
"this is Gustav, the first son., this is Grayson the second son., this is Gene the third son.,this is gusion the fourth son" all the four bow down in respect.

when she heard lady jade referring to the fourth son who's name was gusion, she look at him from under her lashes. he had brown hair, and brown eyes. he looks cute. he was wearing a white coat (Ehehehe I don't know)  and at his left side, he had a dagger hanging through his pants.

"so, are you gusion paxley?" Guinevere asked out of curiosity.
"Umm... yes" he answered shyly.

"I think we should give them some time. let them talk for a while" lady jade said. while she look at Guinevere and gusion.
"hmm... looks like they became good friends" lady Lina and lady jade went to the main ball to attend the party whereas Lancelot and the other three brothers went to the food stall.

"can we talk gusion, I mean if you want" Guinevere lend a hand towards gusion. gusion look at her hand for a few seconds but accepted her proposal.
"okay"

"let's go to the garden then"

at the garden

they both sat in a bench near the rose garden.
"so, may I asked why you bring a dagger along with you? for self-defense?" Guinevere asked while she look at the twinkling stars at the sky.
gusion stop for a moment he stare at Guinevere.
"no, but to answer you're question, I love daggers. and I wanted to be an assassin instead of practicing magic. but my brothers are against of it. they didn't let me do as I like" gusion said with a sad tone.
"it's not your fault though" Guinevere began gusion was listening.
"gusion, if you wanted to try something different, then you have the right to do" she sounds concern.
"thanks Guinevere, for supporting me" he look satisfied.
at a moment,gusion cough.
"you feel cold?" Guinevere asked worriedly.
"nope just... ah... no problem" he assured.
"u can't denied it gus" Guinevere handed her purple scarf which she was wearing.
"but....
before gusion could continue, Guinevere had already put the scarf around his neck.
"here, Gus you'll feel better"
"sharing is caring" Guinevere continued.

gusion blushed at the thought.
look at Guinevere with glitters.
