Darkness. All I can see is darkness. Am I even alive? Where am I? These questions remain in my head as I slowly regain consciousness. I can feel soft dirt under my hand. Huh? I wonder to myself. I can see a wide blue sky with some fluffy clouds. Footsteps! Someone is coming. "Al! Come here! I found a girl!" Are they talking about me? I suddenly feel myself being lifted up and carried somewhere. The next time I open my eyes I'm in a house laying on a table. "Brother! Brother! She woke up!" I couldn't recognize the voice but when I turned my head over I saw a huge set of armor looking down on me. Someone else walked in the room. He had a blonde braid neatly made, a red coat, and black clothing. "Ah, you are awake." with that he put his hand on my forehead. "You don't seem sick at all." he said. "Oh, my name is Edward Elric and this is my younger brother Alphonse Elric." he smiled at me. "O-Oh, my name is Kat. Kat Tail."
