The Weasley I want-Fred Weasley

Part 7

Skipping to the start of year two.

We was shopping for things for school, when harry got recognized by someone I dont know.

Everyone around me that were females seems to fancy him, but he isnt my type.

Mrs. Weasley told us to go wait outside. I was standing by Ginny and Harry on the other side. Thats when we got stopped by the one and only Draco Malfoy.

"Bet you loved that didnt you Potter. Famous Harry Potter. Cant even go into a bookshop without making the front page" he said. Jealous much.

Ginny stepped up "Leave him alone."

Draco just looked at her. I pushed Ginny back a little

"Oh look Potter got yourself a girlfriend"

his father came up behind him.

"Now now Draco, play nicely" and draco moved over to stand behind me

Im guessing that draco's father. He started talking but i didnt really cared what he said.

I looked over towards Fred and he was already looking at me. He gave me that look like to stand over by him. So I turned around towards draco and he was looking at his father listening. He saw me looking at him, his eyes softened and he gave me a soft smile. I think that Malfoy might have a soft spot.

You might be asking do i like Draco? The answer is no, no I dont. But i would want to be friends with him or at least know that story.

I walked over towards fred and he took my hand. I fixed our hand to where our fingers were interlocked. He looked at me surprised and i kinda just laughed.

We got on the train but I never saw harry or Ron get on. I just figured that i wasnt paying attention.

I sat with fred and george. Hermione was with some others, i dont know who tho.

We were laughing a lot. George said that he was tired so he made fred sit next to me so that he could lay down. I mean Im not complaining.

Me and Fred started talking.

"Does your sister like harry?" I asked Fred

"I dont know. I mean she doesnt stop talking about him, as you probably know. But if she does, I just hope she doesnt get hurt. I mean a lot of girls like harry." he answered back

"Half of the girls only like harry because they think hes the chosen one."

We laughed

"Do you like harry. I mean in that way." he asked with a hint of worried in his voice. It was very noticeable.

I look at him like he was crazy.

"Absolutely not. Hes my best friends. Hes also not my type." I answered back laughing

"What is your type?"

"Not harry."

"Malfoy?"

"Are you serious? What makes you think I'd go for Malfoy?"

"You know how you arent nice?" I nodded and he continued "Well you seem nice to him. For example last year when Malfoy was in the halls, you wouldnt have said something, but you stop me and george from saying something."

I looked at him, he almost looked hurt.

"Fred, I wouldnt go for someone like Malfoy. I dont want to go for someone like malfoy."

"So then what is your type?"

How do you tell your best friend that your crush is him?
