Peri Mathews was a normal teenage girl until he came to town.
He shook up her world so badly that her grades even failed. And she was a straight A student. Was.
She tried to remember life before him while staring at his grass green eyes. But she simply couldn't. It was to painful.
"Babe?" I snap out of my trance. "Yes?" He just stares at me.
He looks out the stained glass window.
"We should leave." He says, still staring out the window. I was so taken aback I nearly fell off the couch. "What?" I ask. "Leave where? Why?"
He stares at me. "Leave this piece of shit town. Run away. We both don't belong here and you know it."
All I could do was stare at him. How could we leave? It's not possible we would get picked up by the police again. Of course I don't say this out loud otherwise he would get mad.
He hates when I talk about the incident.
