Another day passed without anyone or anything bothering Yuki to much. His Sunday is off to a good start as he decides to visit his garden. He waters his plants and checks on their growth. They have grown taller in the past couple of days.Yuki stands looking at the house, staring, his mind blank.
"Yuki.." a disembodied voice says.
Yuki turns, he sees nothing.
He covers his eyes with his palms.
"It's all in my head."
Yuki thinks to himself.
"Your not wrong, Yuki" Says a familiar voice.
He removes his hands from his face to find a familiar face standing on the other side of his small garden.
"Haru?" Yuki whispers.
"Is something wrong?" Haru says with a blank face.
"How..why are you here?" Yuki asks
"Why do you think I'm here, Yuki?" Haru asks as he tilts his head to the side.
"Haru, your not making any sense." Yuki slowly walks to Haru
Haru stays silent as Yuki approaches him. A weird feeling stirs inside him.
"You're not Haru." Yuki says standing next to him. He would recognize the real one. He would be more friendly, not so cold.
Haru turns his head to look at Yuki in the eye, a small smile forms on his face.
Haru then moves and walks to Yuki's right. He stops. His eyes never leave Yuki's body. Haru then walks around Yuki, as Yuki is frozen in place.
"What's going on?"
Yuki thinks as he stares forward. Haru is out of his sight.
"I thought you would have figured it out by now."
Yuki would recognize that voice from anywhere.
"But it seems like your still pathetic."
Akito walks from behind him and appears on his left. Yuki stumbles back breathing heavily.
Haru's gone.
"Where's Haru?" Yuki breathes out.
"Like you said, that wasn't Haru." Akito's evil smile forms on her face.
"Why are you here?" Yuki asks
"I'm not" Akito says calmly.
-
Yuki's eyes open, a blue sky fills his view. Yuki raises his tired body from the ground to a sitting position.
"It was....just a dream" Yuki puts a hand to his forehead feeling a little dizzy.
He looks around, no one is to be found. He then gathers himself off the ground and collects his supplies and walks back to the house.
On his way he wonders how he possibly fell asleep. He did wake up in the same spot he was standing in when he was staring off into space. He could've past out...
..but a small feeling inside him felt like what just happened was real.
Yuki walks into the house, then into the living room area where everyone else is eating.
"Look who decided to join us!" Shigure glows with excitement. He presses his fork to his mouth.
"Took him long enough." Kyo takes a bite of his food.
Irritated. Frustrated. Annoyed. Yuki couldn't describe how he felt.
He takes a seat without saying a word. He stares at his food, not feeling hungry. He doesn't even bother picking up his chop sticks.
"How are your vegetables doing?" Torhu smiles at Yuki.
Feeling cold chills wash over him he nervously glaces up then picks up his chop sticks trying to not cause suspicious behavior.
"They're great" he says like they are talking about people. "They're growing well and they look very healthy." He quickly says and returns a smile he doesn't feel.Kyo glares at him for a moment then he goes back to his food.
"What I would give to punch him right now....
....or something that would take away this irritation."
Yuki thinks as he grips on his chop sticks. He furrows his eyebrows and closes his eyes, holding in his ever growing anger.
Pushing the anger down he pays attention to his food, taking one bite at a time.
