"Oh, I thought you said we were going to Monaco. Who's even heard of Mogoca?" asked Jonathan in annoyance. "Evidently, Genghis Kahn. This is where he decided to store all of his treasure from years of conquest." said Rick. "Hopefully including the Scrolls of Thebes." said Alex. "Well, I'll take beaches and baccarat over beasts with bad breath any day." said Jonathan. "I think Anubis somewhat agrees with you on that note, Uncle Jonathan." said Mary looking at the jackal that was eyeing the snow from the wooden sled Mary was pulling. He was also covered in a heavy wool blanket. While Jonathan went back to the Zephyr, Mary, Alex, Rick, and Evy entered a stone hut. "The treasures of Genghis Kahn." said the older looking gentleman pulling off a blanket to revel a pile of treasure. 'Eh....seems a bit small to me.....' thought Mary. "I know one man's trash is another man's treasure, but isn't this just junk?" asked Rick as Tut scampered over to sniff at the "treasure". "Genghis Kahn ruled the largest empire history's ever known. It stretched from the Mediterranean to the China Sea. This simply can't be everything." said Evy. "Soldiers came, took rest, say they all belong to government now." said the man. "Do you know where they took them?" asked Alex. "Da, the Oktober Palace." said the man. "Isn't that near Leningrad?" asked Mary. "Yes, Mary, it is. Over 2,000 miles from here." said Evy. "Now is it just me or are these guys following us!?" asked Rick as the man gasped and pointed to the door where Imhotep and Weasler were standing. "They're following us." said Mary as Anubis stood from the sled and started growling. Imhotep raised his arms in the air chanting in ancient Egyptian causing the fire inside the hut to rise and a fire monster emerged from the flames. "RUN!" yelled Rick. 'To where? The exit is blocked!' thought Mary as her father and brother skidded to a halt in front of three buckets of water. "First rule of camping?" asked Rick. "Always put out your fires." said Alex. "Nice one Dad, Alex!" cheered Mary as they doused the fire monster with two buckets of water. Anubis barked and stood to front of the cauldron. "Good thinking, Anubis!" said Mary running over to the jackal. "Hey, Imhotep, how about a little soup to warm you up?!" she mocked pushing the cauldron over. Unfortunately, Imhotep jumped OVER it. "So kind of you to consider me, Princess, but you won't get me that easily!" yelled Imhotep. "Evy, Alex, Mary, GO!" shouted Rick. "Come on, Anubis!" said Mary patting the sled. The jackal barked and leapt on the sled as the three of them ran towards the exit while Rick distracted Imhotep. "Going somewhere, Princess?" questioned Weasler standing in front of the exit. Mary covered her mouth to prevent herself from laughing as Tut chattered and jumped on Weasler's head. "Filthy little rat!" he cried. "Takes one to know one." said Alex. "Hey Mom, how about giving Weasler the boot?" asked Mary as Anubis grabbed an old boot in his mouth and trotted up to Evy with it. "Delighted to, dear!" said Evy taking the boot from the jackal and roughly shoving it on Weasler's head. "I think we just discovered Genghis Kahn's secret weapon, old, smelly boots!" laughed Mary as Weasler fell to the ground. "Let's go!" shouted Evy running out of the hut. "Come on, Anubis!" yelled Mary pulling the sled behind her. Anubis barked and jumped back on the sled as Mary ran outside.
"Hey, somebody call for a taxi!?" questioned Evy once everyone was safely outside. Evy was riding on one of the oxen while Alex, Mary, and Anubis were riding in the hay filled cart behind. "HIYA!" yelled Rick jumping on the ox next to Evy. "Is this one of those new foreign cars I've heard so much about?" joked Rick. "Is it me or are we forgetting something?" asked Mary looking over at Alex. "Maybe that!" yelled Alex seeing the VERY familiar mummy whirlwind following them. "Could be!" shouted Mary as Imhotep jumped into the cart with the twins. "So much for hay rides being fun!" said Alex as Anubis snarled. "Alex! Mary!" yelled Rick and Evy in union. "Pardon me!" yelled Mary diving under the hay with Alex following suit. Imhotep reached under the hay and ended up pulling out Tut who was screeching at the mummy angrily. Imhotep threw the mongoose onto the head of one of the oxen while Mary slowly poked her head out and was grabbed by the back of her coat. "I have you now, Princess!" said Imhotep. "Thanks for not using your magic for once!" muttered Mary bitterly. "Mind if I steal the bride to be for a minute!?" questioned Rick shoving Imhotep to the side and grabbing Mary under her arms. "Come on, Anubis!" yelled Mary as her father tossed her onto the ox behind her brother. The jackal quickly popped his head out from under the hay next to Imhotep and barked running towards the girl. Alex grabbed Tut and began climbing while Mary held Anubis under one arm and climbed with the other.
