Y/N's pov:

.......

Tears build in my eyes as I stare at the stolen object in my hands. "I-I didn't.. This.. This is your fault!" I yell at him, the tears threatening to fall even more so than before. He raises his brow and replies, "I didn't make you steal, you did that on your own." My heart and mind feels multiple emotions, angry, deceived, scared, you name it. At his works, I no longer can hold them back. I begin to cry, like a child who knows she's going to be in trouble. I cry and my voice begins to grow more and more, the anger overtaking my every sense of being.

"You're a horrible person! You were going to force me too hang out with you no matter what I said or did! I-I hate you Lee Taemin!" My words stun him, I can tell by his eyes widening and mouth gaping like a fish out of water. I grip onto the bracelet and turn to head home, he doesn't dare to stop me.

Taemin's pov:

"I-I hate you Lee Taemin!" She yells as tears stream down her face. I don't think I've ever heard those words pointed directly at me. I can see people saying it behind by back, but to my face? This girl's got guts. My eyes widen at her words, before I can come up with a response, she turns on her heels and walks away. A long, heavy sigh escapes my lips as I shove my hands back into my pockets. There's something about this girl that intrigues me. Perhaps I'm just bored? I know that she's a goody-two-shoe type of person, I'm more shocked she actually stole from that store.

I wonder how far I can push her? A smile then forms on my face a little as I continue to think to myself..

Y/N's pov:

I get home, all my energy completely drained out of me. I hear my sister's car park in the gravel beside our house, a new minutes afterwards she walks into the house with an arm full of grocery bags. "Help but these away, leave the beef out thats for dinner." She says, setting the bags down on the counter.

"A-alright.." I get up from the couch and help her put away the food in silence. "Hm? Whats up with you?" My sister raises her eyebrow with suspicion. The last thing I want to tell my sister is that I accidentally stole from a store.. I plan on returning it as soon as I get the chance too tomorrow, I just rather keep this between Taemin and I. "N-Nothing" I avert my eyes, avoiding my sister's gaze as much as I can. "Are you sure?.." She leans in close to get a good look at my face. "Yes unnie! I said I'm fine!" I can tell that I'm not very convincing by the expression on Jisoo's face. She sighs and gazes deep into my chocolate eyes, "yeah.. What ever you say... It's obvious that you've been crying and with your glasses, it doesn't help hide it. "

"I... don't want to talk about it." I say darting my eyes onto the tiled flooring. "Well, if another jerk makes my baby sister cry. I will raise hell." She playfully winks and ruffles my hair with her beautiful, dainty hand. I've always looked up to Jisoo in many ways, shes so pretty and good with people. She's kind and not to mention absolutely talented. She's currently studying music in college. I give my sister a gentle smile and remove her hand from my head. "Thank you, I really do appreciate it." "Yeah, no problem." I let her hand go and stretch my arms out in the air, "Well, I'm going to turn in for now. Let me know when dinner is done, kay?"

"You bet kiddo! Get some of your homework done." I give her a smile and begin making my way towards my room, "I will.." With that, I shut my door gently and crawl into my bed, staring at the bracelet in my hands. Tomorrow, I will return the bracelet... But without notice..

The next day, Taemin didn't show up to class so it was honestly quite peaceful. After school, I went back to the store that we went to previously. I remove my glasses, pull my hair up in a ponytail and put on a mask. My vision feels fuzzy as I squint at the price tags, pretending to browse the items infront of me. I hate when I don't wear my glasses because I can't see at all. For me, without them everything is giant blobs of blurriness. It's horrible. And contacts make my eyes itch so, nope! I carefully slip the bracelet on the shelf and turn to leave, slamming into someone! "O-Oh sorry!!" He holds me up by his firm hands gripping onto my arms. The guy says my name and it surprisingly sounds familiar. "Y/N?" I quickly pull my glasses out of my pocket and put them on, my vision becomes clear and the person before me.. happens to be Taemin.. "Oh great, it's you" I roll my eyes sarcastically. "You're surprisingly cute without your glasses on. Who knew?" He chuckles to himself, his eyes inviting. My cheeks heat up and I stomp on the top of his right foot! "OW! What the hell was that for?!" He yells, holding onto his injured foot. "You're an idiot. " In my mind I smile, yet I do my best to remain straight faced. Taemin looks at me with disbelief once more. "What?! How!?"

I push my glasses up the bridge of my nose, scrunched it in the process as I look at him. "Here shoplifting some more? Why weren't you in class today?" He sets his foot back flat on the ground. "Ever heard of skipping? You should try it some time. As for the other thing, that's not what I'm doing." I look him up and down with suspicion. He's such a liar, I bet this sleaze steals everything he wants just for the hell of it! "Yeah right!" I call him out. He looks back at me I puzzled, throwing my question back at my face. "What about you? What are YOU doing here?"

My eyes follow towards the bracelet as I admit my plans, "Returning the bracelet." He continues to look confused and then snickers to himself. "Did you tell the staff?" He asked, a knowing smirk lingering on his plumped lips. "No. The price tag is still on it so I don't think anyone noticed..." I begin to confess however I'm cut off by a voice belonging to an employee. "Yeah, that's them alright! They stole from the shop yesterday!" I cringe at the voice and my heart thumps loudly within my chest. I whisper "Crap" under my breath as I feel the anxiety beginning to build up. Taemin remains calm as one of the managers walks up to us. "Hey, you two!" The man was young and his chestnut hair covers most of his downturned eyes. "You both aren't allowed at this store after your stunt. If you linger here much longer we will call the police and charge you for theft!" I begin to feel regret, I should have just left things alone, kept the bracelet and forget the event ever happened.. "I-I'm sorry.." Tears begin to form, blurring my vision slightly.

"Hey, you don't have proof that items where stolen. I don't see a single camera in this store, and if anything its you're poor security letting customers walk out with unpaid merchandise." Taemin glares back at the manager, one hand on his hip as he defends the two of us. The manager stands there completely out of words, stumbling and jittering whatever words they can muster out of his mouth. "I-I- Y-You... G-G-GET OUT!" I've never seen anyone's face turn so red in my entire life, until now. I suppress an unknown feeling of giggles as Taemin peeks at me with the corner of his eye.

"Fine, but while I'm here.. " He jumps onto the counter and grabs the intercom. "Wh-What are you doing?! Hey!!" Both the Manager and employee at the cash register begin to yell, I remain quiet holding back my laughter as much as possible. Taemin turns the intercom on and begins to speak, "Everyone, I have an announcement!..."
