Barry sat on the edge of the bed looking at his wife who was sleeping peacefully. He smiled down at her then kissed her head. He grabbed his coat and left their loft, headed to work.

On his way there he felt someone following him. He continued his path, not bothered by it because they were messing with the wrong person.

The person grabbed Barry's shoulder and turned him around. Barry grabbed their hand, twisted it, and pinned it behind the person's back.

"Good to know that you can protect my daughter," Clint groaned out and Barry rolled his eyes.

"You lost the right to call her your daughter," Barry said, continued walking.

"She told you," Barry scoffed and turned back around.

"Of course she told me!" Barry raised his voice a little.

"I didn't mean by it"

"You didn't mean by it! She was sexually assaulted and beaten! She went through something horrible and you made it worse by blaming her best friend's death on her! You made it worse by saying it was her fault they were in that situation!" Barry yelled gaining a few looks from bystanders.

"I just didn't want her to join S.H.I.E.L.D," Clint said realizing how bad he and Laura messed up.

"Then you tell her that! You don't call your daughter weak when she just went through something terrible! You called her pathetic! But you and your wife are the ones who are pathetic!" Clint's heart cracked from every word he said.

"Can you just help me talk to her " Barry laughed.

"No, I stand by my wife. If you want to make amends, make them yourself. But I'll support my wife's decision, even it means if she forgives you. But I'll still hate you for how you treated her," Barry walked away without another word.

Clint watched him walk away. He pulled out his phone, clicked a few things and pressed it against his ear.

"Hey can you come down to New York City?"
