Tall Glass of Water

Tis tall

But shorter than more

Less than more but more than less

It has been emptied and filled

But dirty is the water

To the plentiful amount

Then drained clean, dry

Of every drop

And never refreshed, never refilled

Left empty to collect

The dust of empty, lonesome space

No one to trust

No one to share

No one to care

Empty glass now to full

Of the dust from dry

Lonely air

To dry to be drowned

Drowned with cleansed water

Water fresh for a glass

Just this kind of glass

A glass has come

Water to be spread

Water for sharing

Water for caring

Water to wash out the dust

Wet the dry

And make a new glass

Clear glass

With nothing to hide

Just a tall glass

Filled with water
