"put it down," catherine said to her.

"both you and your brother caused joel's hell," maria said to her.

"no one wants you, or your brother here catherine," she said again.

"at least they loved us once. but you? did anyone ever love you maria? i know joel didn't. he ignored you," catherine said.

"you don't deserve any love," maria said, trying to thrust the screwdriver into the girl.

catherine held maria's hand, stopping it from stabbing her.

the two girls struggled with each other for a while, until catherine pushed her away.

maria let out a gasp as she leaned over the sofa.

catherine stared at her. the girl was leaning over, and was giving her back to her.

"maria?" catherine called out.

maria turned over slowly, her hand holding onto the screwdriver- which also happened to be stuck in between her rib.

catherine gasped, covering her mouth.

"i'm sorry, i'm sorry," she said shakily.

"i didn't mean it, i'm sorry," she repeated.

maria stood up slowly, pulling the screwdriver out.

she dropped it onto the floor, trying to walk away but she was wobbly.

catherine watched as the girl got closer to the glass window.

she stumbled over her feet, hitting the glass window and falling straight down into the pool.

catherine gasped and looked down to see the pool slowly turning into a bloodbath.

she was shaking. the girl didn't know what to do.

"catherine?" she heard a voice call for her and she turned around.

rosemary's eyes widened as she properly woke up and saw the window broken.

she rushed there and looked down, finding maria in the pool.

"oh my god," she let out.

"it was an accident. she tried to kill me," catherine let out.

rosemary looked around the room and saw the bloody screwdriver on the floor.

she picked it up with a random piece of cloth and kept it in the pocket of her hoodie.

a scream was heard through the villa. everyone rushed to the backyard to see lizzy staring at the pool in terror.

"oh my god," jaelyn gasped, covering her mouth as she started to breathe heavily.

the pool that was filled with clear water was now filled with blood. 

joel looked up to see the glass window on the second floor broken.

she fell from up there. but he wondered how?
