"tell me anything you know," inspector garcia said to her.

"i don't know anything," catherine responded.

"there were some witnesses saying you and maria never exactly got along," he said to her.

he leaned forward, his elbows on his knees.

"catherine, was it you?" he asked.

"because as far as i know you definitely weren't friends. why are you so shaken up about this?" he asked again.

catherine stayed silent, looking at each and every one of her friends.

"i'm like this, because..." her sentence faded as she was still blank.

"talk to me catherine," he said to her.

catherine inhaled deeply. "you think just because you're some inspector you know everything?" she questioned.

"me and maria definitely never got along, but that doesn't mean i did it," she shook her head.

"it kills me, the way me and these incredible people have to go through this some crap all over again, just the way it was with ara," she stated.

"but i'm not gonna keep rambling and i'll give you what you want and that's an answer," she shrugged.

"i didn't do it, and i don't know who the fuck did," she said.

inspector garcia sighed, leaning back.

they wrapped everything up and left back to the police station, doing more investigations from there.

"you did good," christopher whispered to catherine when it was only the friends left in the house.

the girl nodded, still trying to process everything.

"hey," joel called out, gesturing for the couple to gather with them in the living room.

"so it's only us, we're the only ones that knows. and we should keep it that way," he said to them.

"where's elena and marcel?" amaia asked.

"they went to the hospital to handle the whole maria thing," lizzy responded.

"i'm tired," jaelyn let out. "i'm tired of all of this crap that happens. all these deaths and all- accident or not," she elaborated.

"we all are," rosemary stated.

"i'm scared to even have a reunion now," zabdiel chuckled, trying to enlighten the mood.

"maybe just not here," erick said as well.

"we should get some rest. we'll be leaving tomorrow anyways," christopher said.

they all nodded and went upstairs to their rooms.

richard and catherine were the last.

"thank you," she said to him.

"thank you," he said to her. "you never gave up on me."

"and you never gave up on me either," she said to him and he nodded, pulling her into a hug.
