Author Note

This will not be your typical romance fanfiction. I tend to create slow-burns, choosing to flesh out the characters and slowly develop their relationships. In this case, there isn't any romance between my original character and James whatsoever in the first volume. You'll understand why if you read beyond the sixth chapter.

Nearly all of this volume consists of original content, the only exceptions are chapters one and two. Please tell me what you think by leaving comments and giving it a vote if you like it. I would love to have any constructive criticism so I can improve my writing and this story.

Please don't repost this story on another website without my permission. I've already released it on Mibba, Quotev, Archive of our own, DeviantArt, Webnovel, fanfiction.net, and royalroad. Let me know if there are any other websites you think I should post this to, and I'll check them out.
