Chapter three

" So Luca huh ? " Riele said and gave her a slight nudge on the shoulder as she took a bottle of water from the vending machine in the cafeteria .

Briana hid a little smirk from Riele knowing she would make a big deal out of it .

" So were should we seat " Before she got her answere Riele was already ahead of Briana making her way to the table at the back of the cafeteria. 

Briana simply just followed and quickly caught up to her .

Riele took a seat at the table nexts to her ' Friends ' at the biggest table in the entire cafeteria. 

The table was full of nothing but snobs and ass kissers as Briana describe them in her head .

In her whole 3 years at Edgewood Academy she has never said more than three when words to everyone at that table .

But its not like she wanted to anyway , they aren't really her type of people. 

There were five of them , Sidney she is the definition of a wanna . All she does is kiss Samantha ass hoping she will be next in line for Ms popular .

She is was society woukd call pretty but can never be as pretty as Samantha. 

Briana got alot of jealousy vibes from her . She always thought that Sidney was jealouse of how close Riele and Samantha are .

I guess her naturally curly brown hair had nothing on Riele's long black hair .

Next on the list would be Ros . His incredibly food looks did not do much in reducing his overbearing pride , but i guess it comes with being the son of the of one of the biggest business men in Edgewood. 

Ros and Samantha have been on and off for the past two years i guess tolerating each others bad behaviour just to impress a bunch of crack head high schoolers , must be love . 

And you've met Luca , he os more of the ladies men . Almost evey girl he says a single word to falls inlove with  him . Briana maybe .

Briana took a seat next to Briana and and at that moment secretly made eye contact with Luca .

" Who is this beautiful thang ? " Ros asked as he took away his attention from Samantha to Briana .

" Briana " answered Luca looking right in Bianca brown eyes .

" Wait i know you .... aren't you that weirdo that never said a word to anyone for the last 3 years " Sidney concluded

" Come on Sidney " Riele said .

" You really cleaned yourself up " Samantha added " Where'd you hide the sweat pants and xlarge t-shirts?  "

" I gues she started wearing makeup " Ross added

At this point Briana couldn't help but feel embarrassed completely humiliated

" Dont get offended Briana ,.we aren't making fun of you we are laughing at the old and disgusting you "

Samantha bluntly said with a smile on her face .

Riele felt bad for her friend but she didn't know what to say . She didn't have the guts to go against her friends .

" But dont worry . Your hot now . And you might actually have a chance of being one of us "

Sidney said with a huge grin on her face

" I guess that's why Riele started hanging put with you . Coz you are to cute to hang around all these other lamoz . Isn't that right Riele ?"

Samantha asked putting Riele on the spot

With not much thought Riele quickly replied " Yeah totally"

Briana eyes widened in shock of Riele's answer. Briana felt so stupid and humiliated that she thought Riele was a actually her friend. 

She had new friends and she didn't even care to mention that her and Briana had been friends way before high school. 

" Welcome to the gang B " Luca said to Briana and placed his hand on her shoulder

" Maybe i don't want to apart of the gang "

And like that Briana stood up and left the table .

Riele couldn't help but feel guilty but she new she couldn't go after her . ' What would Samantha think '

She thought to herself

" What's her problem ? " Ross asked

" I guess not everyone can handle the fabulous five "

Samantha said as she went back to eating her salad.

Briana punched in the locker code again but it still wouldn't open , causing her to kick it with frustration .

" They changed the codes "

Someone said behind her .

" What ? " Briana asked to bring herself in the right mental state .

" The codes . They were all  changed . Just punch in triple zero and you change your code again "

Said a girl with short brown hair and books in her hand .

" Thanx "

Briana instantly did what she said and in no time she had access to her locker .

" Briana right ? " She asked unsure of her name

" finally someone who recognizes me " she says with a little bit of joy in her voice .

" Yeah ... the new girl right " she added

" spoke to soon " she whispered

" I'm just kidding.  I know i attended school here for the last 3 years . We actually sat next to each other in Science class two years ago "

She said hoping to get a reaction from Briana

" Urm ... " Briana tried to remember

" Natalie ... we also went to camp together once "

" Sorry. Nothing? " she said with guilt

" Wow . I know I'm not the most memorable person but wow !" She said making Briana feel even worse .

" I'm really sorry . I wasn't in the right head space that time . I didn't pay attention to anyone "

" It's okay , just promise you won't forget my face again and we are good " She said with a smile.

" I'll do better and even remember your name "

They shared a small giggle

" which is ... let me guess Natalie ? "

" And dont you forget it " she said .

Briana closed her locker and texted her dad to come and pick her up .

She hasn't spoken to Riele after the hole thing that happened at lunch but all she new was that she didn't want to be around Riele or her friends .

They just weren't her type of people.  She has waisted three years in her depression and she wasn't going to waiste more time being someone she's not .
