" Are you ready can we go now " asked Mr Roberts as he picked inn from her bedroom door.
Briana stood infront of her mirror for atleast 15 minutes questioning herself weather or not she should just stick to her usual sweats and xlarge shirts .
" Yep" she anwered with a little hesitation
" Wow you look great sweetie! "
Mr Roberts wasn't wrong the blue jean and white crop top she got from Riele looked great on her . Plus she threw on her favourite blue denim jacket that went great with the jeans .
" I have something for you " said Mr Roberts with his hands placed behind him
" What ? " Briana couldn't help the curiosity and exitement in her voice
He hand her a box that was carefully rapped .
Briana instantly unrapped the box and her face lit up with joy
" A Gucci designer bag pack !!
" Yep "
" OMG dad thank you !! "
In the midst of their Daddy daughter moment they heard a car beep outside
" Is that your ride ? " Mr Roberts asked
" I guess" As she picked out the window to see Riele parked infront of their house
" I guess I'll see you later " She quickly gave him a hug and grabbed her phone and new bag pack and out the door .
" Nice ride " Briana said as she stared at Riele in her new red AMG
" I guess having divorced parents isn't the worst thing ever " Riele retorted in her white and pink flowered short dress .
Briana's smile quickly faded when she heard the word divorce
" Wait when ? " she tried to ask but was instantly cut off
" Dont even worry about it Bree ... get in ? " she gave Briana a fake smile hoping she would let it go
" I love your bag ... Hello Gucci!! " they bothed laughed
" Thanx It's a gift from my dad "
And like that they drove off to school

They both got out of the car still giggling from a joke Riele said
For a minute Briana forgot how funny Riele was .
They got to Riele's locker and as Riele was placing her books in her locker Briana just realised something
" Crap i forgot to pack my books " she slapped her hand on her forehead for being so forgetful.
Riele let out a giggle in amusement
" So we're eating lunch together right " Briana asked
" Definitely " Riele closed her locker and before they could start walking to first period English they had company
" Cute bag " said Samantha Rosewood , cheerleading captain , pageant queen and the possible heir to the Rosewood fortune and Riele's best friend for the last 3 years .
You guessed it . Mis popularity herself
" Thanx " Briana easily said even though she was extremely intimidated by her
She was so confident and how can she not be , she was rich and stunning at the same time .
" I haven't seen you hear before ... you're new right? "
" Urm " that was all Briana could say to her .
Even though she new that she always kept to herself for the last 3 year Briana was a little hurt that Samantha never even new she existed
What was even more shocking and hurtful was that Riele has never even mentioned her to Samantha
I mean , they were best friends for 6 years , didn't that mean anything to her .
" She's been here for 3 years Sam " answered Riele
" Really? how can a girl as... " Samantha stopped for second trying to find the perfect word to describe Briana
" PRETTY as yourself attend school here for 3 years not be noticed ?"
" I guess some people just like to keep to themselves " Briana retorted with a direct glare at Samantha
" Everybody wants attention in life " Samantha shot back
" That's debatable " Briana said
" Anyway... we should head to class " Said Riele as she sensed the tension .
" Nice meeting you ... ? " Samantha said realising she didn't get her name
" Briana " as Briana finished her sentence for her .
" See you around Briana " and like that Samantha was gone
" What was that about " Riele asked
" You tell me "
They both entered the class and looked around for open seats .
Riele recognized a few of her friends at the back of the class and went over to greet them , leaving Briana standing alone awkwardly.
At that moment she realised that she hadn't done any socialising in the last three years . She was always in her own thoughts never really paying attention to anybody .
She felt like it was her first day in High school. She only recognized a few faces that she did a few school projects with .
She saw an open spot in the center and placed her bag pack on the table and sat down .
She started scrolling through her phone to try and not look too out of place.
" You're in my seat " said a deep voice in front of her
She looked up and saw some guy she didn't recognize standing infront of her .
He was really good eye candy for Briana , she couldn't help but stare directly in his dark brown eyes . He had very dark features that gave him this amazing appeal.
" Oh sorry " she said as she was getting up
" I'm just kidding " he said as he took a seat next to her .
" Oh " she said as she fell back in her seat .
" Are you new here ... I've never seen you around "
Briana let out a sigh of frustration
" No I'm not " she answered
" Really ... I'm sure i wouldn't notice a girl as pretty as you "
" Well you didn't " she retorted
" I'm noticing you now ... and i can notice you even more over a movie Friday night "
" smooth " she said sarcastically
" Do you know what I'm wondering? " Briana asked with an over exaggerated face
" What? " he asked giving her his undivided attention
" Whatever happened to hello , or what's your name ? Do you know were they went ? "
He let out a giggle revealing his perfect teeth and one sided dimple
" Ok ... my bad , hi ? I'm Luca and what's your name ? " he jokingly asked while asking for an overly dramatic handshake
" Nice to meet you Luca ... Briana " she gives him a friendly handshake and they both laugh causing everyone in the class to turn their heads and stare.
Just at that moment the English teacher entered the class causing everyone to take their seats .
