"Achoodijfusdifbhubdf!" Atsumu sneezed. "Atsumu do you have a cold?" Gin asked in concern. "It'll be fine. I'll get more sick if I don't play volleyball!" Atsumu said in determination. "Ooh! That's the spirit! the love for volleyballs conquers all!" Gin said getting hyped as well. "Go home." Kita says. the two 2nd years look at their captain. Kita looks at Gin. "don't praise him when he's obviously not taking care of himself. we don't want a repeat of Osamu's incident do we?" Kita says coldly, making Gin sweat. "I'm gonna catch a cold." Suna says as he brrs from Kita's cold words. It hasn't been long since the fever incident happened but to Osamu it felt like a dream. "yeah me too." Osamu says. Soon after, Atsumu stomps off to the lockers. "How are you feeling Osamu?" Kita asks. Osamu was caught off guard, "I-I'm feeling okay now!" Osamu says. "that's good. break is over, continue your drills." Kita says as he goes out of the gym for a while. "since Atsumu isn't around, your tossing for me samu." Suna states. "I don't want to." Osamu groans. "I wasn't asking so come on." Suna says as pulls Osamu.
"Captain is gonna make me cry" Atsumu sobbed as he curled in his blanket, eating some pickled plums. "your already crying." Osamu says as he sat beside his brother on the couch. "Hug me samu~" Atsumu whined. "And catch your cold? no thank you." Osamu said as he flicked Atsumu's forehead. "I love our captain~!" Atsumu announces. "your louder when your sick." Osamu states. "I'm just being honest" Atsumu says.
"So you like Kita-san?" Osamu asked, raising his brow. "yeah." Atsumu replied as he flicked through the channels, and sipping the drink Osamu made for him. "What do you like about him? i always thought you were the type to like the famous ones." Osamu said but he regret saying those words. "I could careless if Kita wasn't famous. it doesn't mean I would want him any less." Atsumu said passionately. Osamu could feel his heart ache, was he just an obstacle between Atsumu and Kita? Osamu was madly infatuated with the boy, Kita Shinsuke, but he couldn't bear the thought of seeing Atsumu's face if he told him he liked Kita too. "then..why don't you tell him?" Osamu asked. "I wanna win his heart first! you'll help me right samu?" Atsumu said with enthusiasm. Osamu heart hurt even more. "hm. sure. but if anything goes bad, its not my fault!" Osamu said with a laugh, masking the pain he felt deep within. "I'm glad to be related to ya, even if yer an ass sometimes." Atsumu said as he hugs Osamu. "Oi get off I'll catch your cold!" "Never!"
Osamu laid awake as he watched Atsumu sleep peacefully beside him on the couch. A few tears fell out of Osamu's eyes as his heart hurt more than he could bare. he clutched onto his shirt as he bit his lip, the tears fall down uncontrollably. 'why has fate been cruel to me? I liked Kita first!' Osamu thought as he cursed fate for bringing him into this situation. 'if I hadn't taken that walk, I would never had met Kita. if I stayed home that day, that cursed day.' Osamu wipes his tears as he looks over at his brother. 'Kita would be happier with Tsumu..' Osamu thought, images of Kita and Atsumu dating flashed through his mind, hurting him even more, he muffled his cries with his hand as his brother slept peacefully by his side. 'why do I do this to myself..?'
"Samu? you good? you don't look very...well." Atsumu says as his brother emerged out of the room dressed in his uniform. His eyes were tired from crying and his body ached from the bad position he had when he slept. "I'm fine but yer ass sleeps loud as hell." Osamu lied. "gomen- its not my fault I snore!" Atsumu said as he quickly dodges Osamu's punches. "come on we'll be late for school because of you." Osamu said as he quickly went downstairs. "okay okay-" Atsumu rushed down to catch up with Osamu.
Osamu couldn't bare to look at Kita, his heart ached at the very sight of the man he loved, the man he wanted to lay with, to be with, the one he wanted. Kita noticed Osamu's weird behaviour, and just as he was going to approach him, Atsumu steps in. "Kita-san, I was wondering if you wanna hang out after practice! I'll pay for the food." Atsumu offered. Kita was itching to talk to Osamu about his weird behaviour but didn't want to ignore Atsumu. "Sure.." Kita replied. "really? that's great! I'll wait for you after practice!" Atsumu said and gleefully goes back to practicing. When Kita tries to look for Osamu again, he wasn't there anymore, rather, practicing with Suna. Kita pressed his lips into a thin line. 'I guess I'll ask him another time.'
