it was the middle of november, the heavy snow was supposed to be filling up the streets and the street workers would try their best to move the snow to the side, making a pathway for everyone. However, this year was different. Vanessa rolled out of bed in her shorts and large xxl shirt as she stood up to stretch, her eyes catching the colour outside. A big smile filled her face as she walked towards the widow and opened it wide as she saw the sun filling up most of the city. The warm wind filled her skin with goosebumps all over while she was running to get her uniform and get into the shower. As the warm droplets fell on her skin she hung her head down letting the warm sensation take over her body. Meanwhile Vanessa was having her blissful moment, Aurora was still heavily sleeping. She was definitely not an early bird like her friend, however, somehow she ended up taking morning duties. Vany wrapped her petite body in a white towel as she let her long hair down, slipping on a pair of warm slippers she eagerly went to Auroras room knocking on the door repeatedly announcing that she needs to wake up for work. The door slowly opened to reveal a dark and warm room as Vanessa sneaked in and went to Rory "Baby you need to wake up.." her soft and delicate voice echoed in her ears as she opened the curtains letting the reflection of the white blanket outside make her room bright. However, Rory, that's how Vanessa used to call her, didn't seem like waking up any time soon. Her friend luckily, had this coming. It wasn't their first year of living together so Vany already knew effective and working ways how to wake her up. Without any hesitation she jumped on the bed, right on top of the girl, causing a soft squeak slip in the space between them, echoing through entire room. Aurora sat up and yelped half asleep "VANY!!" Vanessa held her towel tightly to her chest as she giggled and left the room knowing she needs to get her uniform on which consisted of black skirt, see-through tights and a white silk blouse as they had to wear long sleeve during the winter. She slipped on her black platform shoes and straightened her hair as well as did her makeup which was always eyeliner, eyeshadow and some light foundation. Meantime, Rory slowly began to wake up. Rubbing her eyes, she yawned softly, slipping out of her sheets. The girl waddled sleepily into her closet, looking for her uniform "Vannny! Where's my uniform?" she asked reaching for a bloody red florished mini dress, which perfectly accentuated her curves. Aurora wasn't the one to show off her body, unlike Vanessa. She would go with something simple and modest, yet outstanding. Pushing her head through soft, almost silk like material and slipping on a pair of white shoes, finally her outfit was complete "Vannyy?" she asked once more, peeking into her room. Vanessa was busy focusing on her eyeliner as she couldnt mess it up. "It IS here!!" her voice turn into a louder tone while setting the eyeliner in her purse and putting her coat on, checking herself out. "right im off to work ill see you there okay? Make sure you eat and everything n ill see you there bubs." Vany smiles at her and gives her a small hug as she hurried out the door and headed towards the coffee shop. By the time Vanessa has left, Aurora was making herself an avocado toast for her lunch. She knew her friend would want one as well, so she prepared twice a. much. Wrapping their sandwiches into a paper bag, the girl finally made her way towards the coffee shop. She locked their apartment doors and with her colourful locks bouncing off her shoulder, happily skipped downstairs. Minutes later she found herself standing next to the coffee shop. Vany was always the first one to appear in their work place and thankfully she was used to covering her up "Thank chuu" Aurora mewls softly to Vanessa, her lips curving into the brightest smile as she reaches out their lunch bag towards her adding "I knew you'd forget to bring food sooo I made us some sandwiches" giving her a hug, the girl rushed to take her place, right next to till. Today was her turn to listen to the costumers complain about their lives. Putting on a plastered grin, Rory waited for people to come in, while Vany was busy cleaning coffee machines. Waiting for more customers to come, the place slowly filled up while the girls took clients orders, two young looking men entered the shop as the bell announced their presence. One of them had chiselled jaw, messy hair, fair skin and perfect body structure while the other one had small braids, perfect skin, chiselled jaw as well and his mixed skin completing the look, they both looked the same it was just a matter of their skin colour. the boy with a fair skin complexion stepped first as Aurora greeted him with a "Welcome, what would you like to order sir." she murmured in her usual warm tone, looking up at the man. he was at least 7 inches taller than her, despite being considered as 'model height' woman "and what would you recommend?" he asked rather politely, his voice soothing like the waves during night. he had a familiar accent, the one Rory has already heard before "well usually our costumers go with pumpkin spice latte especially this season, but i personally don't drink coffee. instead I would recommend on getting our home-made raspberry tea" she finally spoke up, flashing him a smile. the man, however, had no reaction as if his face was made out of stone. he simply replied "Well I trust you.." he then glanced at her name tag before adding "Aurora" his lips curved into a smirk and a pair of most mischievous dimples started to form in the corner of his lips. a lot of previous clients, had tried their charms on the girl, regardless, it never work and now wasn't the exception neither. not paying much attention Aurora shoot him a fake smile and scribbled his order on the piece of paper, later on giving it to Vany "Anything else?" she asked, returning to the males. while the boy flirted with aurora, vanessa was quickly doing his drink as she noticed her friend getting lost into his innocent blue eyes, she gave the hot tea cup to aurora as it was her job to fill it up with any extras. the mixed boy stepped in second, with his hands in his pockets and a cigarette behind his ear, vanessa was quick to turn around and catch his eyes as she cleaned hr hands on her apron, her foot instantly going towards rory and kicking her slightly making sure she understands that she will be taking his order.
