Adora's POV

A few weeks had passed, and the Fright Zone was well on its way to being restored. It was definitely a lot smaller than before since only about two-thirds of the Horde's people remained, and with the new building designs, the kingdom looked a lot less... evil.

I was waiting at home for Catra to come back. She had contributed so much to the rebuild, and while I wanted to be there too, Finn and Mara needed to be taken care of. We still hadn't figured out what to do with the two of them; they needed a permanent home, but we hadn't found anyone who was willing to adopt kid. It was kind of late, so they were both asleep.

"Hey, Adora."

I turned around to see Catra standing in the doorway.

"Hey, Catra," I replied, mimicking her signature tone.

She laughed. I must have done it wrong.

"How did it go today?" I asked as she took off her boots. It had been a struggle to get her to wear them in the first place; she's never liked having shoes on her feet, but I insisted that she wear something protective while she was near any construction equipment.

"Things are going well. Everyone's working really hard."

She came over to the chair I was sitting in and sat on my lap. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"I still don't see why I have to sit here while you get to be productive," I complained. "Even y/n and Roe are helping out at the Fright Zone."

"You spent the last three years being She-Ra. You deserve a break."

"But I'm not even tired! And you've had a pretty rough time, too. If I get a break then so should you."

She shook her head. "I need to own up to my mistakes somehow."

I knew better than to argue with her about that. Nothing was going to change her mind. Instead of consoling her with words, I intertwined our fingers together and let our foreheads touch. I smirked when Catra started purring.

"Shut up," she muttered.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Go away!" Catra yelled just as I called for them to come in.

Y/n pushed the door open. "Am I interrupting something?"

"Yes," Catra grumbled, but I shook my head.

"Sorry, I was just looking for Entrapta."

"She's probably in her lab," I said. Entrapta had been staying at Bright Moon while the Fright Zone was being rebuilt; she was coming up with blueprints for new buildings and was creating new machines to aid in construction.

"Thanks!"

They left the room and shut the door behind them. Once they were gone, I turned back to Catra, and she gave me a kiss. With her in my arms, I stood up and walked over to the bed.

"Heyo!" Glimmer said as she suddenly appeared in the middle of the room.

"Argh!" Catra groaned, flopping backward onto the mattress. "Does privacy mean nothing to you people?"

Glimmer put her hands on her hips. "You want dinner or not?"

Catra's ears twitched. "Maybe."

"Come on," I said with a laugh, pulling on her arm.

Glimmer teleported the three of us away to the dining room, where Bow, Micah, and Angella were already waiting at the table, along with Mermista and Sea Hawk, who were joining us today. Kyle, Lonnie, and Rogelio normally ate dinner with us (the three of them were staying at the palace), but today they were staying late at the Fright Zone.

"Have you seen y/n and Roe?" Glimmer asked. "I can't find them anywhere."

"Y/n passed by our room just moments before you barged in," Catra said, her arms folded across her chest.

"Yeah, they were looking for Entrapta," I added.

Coincidently, just moments after her name was called, Entrapta walked into the room, trackerpad in hand and Hordak following close behind.

"Have any of you seen Wrong Hordak?" she asked. "He's been missing for a few hours."

"What is with everyone today?" Catra muttered.

"Where was the last place you saw him?" Bow asked.

"Well, he was having another existential crisis so I let him try to work it out himself but he left the lab and didn't come back."

"There they are!" Wrong Hordak said, entering the room. He was wearing his usual white outfit, but instead of the Horde's smbol in the front, he had changed it into a butterfly. "Que pasa muchachos!"

"Hey there, bud," Entrapta started cautiously. "You okay?"

Wrong Hordak turned around to reveal the back of his shirt, where a symbol was sloppily painted on. "It's Chinese for 'Japan'"

"So cool," Mermista said, suppressing a laugh. I couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic or not.

"What's a 'Japan?'" Micah asked.

"It's a country on Earth! Little sister Roe told me so."

Catra winced. "Don't call her that."

"You've seen Roe? Where is she?" I asked.

"She was looking for y/n."

"Ughhhhhh why can't everyone just stay in one place?" Mermista groaned. "I'm hungry."

y/n's POV

Roeand I were running all around the castle looking for Entrapta, but we couldn't find her. We eventually split up to cover more ground, but even then we didn't have any luck. I headed back to Roe's room so I could tell her we'd have to look later, but she wasn't there.

"Great," I grumbled. "I feel like I'm playing a game of hide-and-seek."

I glanced down at my phone, which I kept in my pocket even though the battery was dead. I had tried to make it last as long as possible by not using it—which wasn't that hard since there wasn't any internet on Etheria anyway—but now it's completely useless and I had no way to charge it.

I kept the device on me at all times to remind me that I couldn't stay in Etheria forever. I mean, technically I could, but I had a life back on earth. I wasn't going to abandon it.

I checked the clock on the wall and realized it was dinner time. I headed towards the dining room, but ran into Roe on the way there. Literally. I turned a corner and crashed into her.

"Ouch!" I grunted, rubbing my head. "Did you find her?"

"Nope. I did find Wrong Hordak, though. He wasn't very helpful. I asked if he knew where you were but all he did was ask me some questions about China and Japan and how to say 'what's up guys' in Spanish."

I breathed a laugh. "I'm not even going to ask why."

"Yeah. That dude is just unexplainable."

We made it to the dining room. Everyone was there already, including Entrapta. So that's where she was.

"Ugh, about time!" Mermista complained. "Can we eat now?"

"Sorry, didn't mean to make you wait," I said, finding a seat. "Did we miss something?"

"Not really," Catra said. "We're all just starving to death over here, no big deal."

Adora elbowed her. "She's just kidding. Did you guys need something from Entrapta?"

"Oh, yeah, um..." I looked at Roe, hoping that she'd help me explain, but she busied herself by drinking some water so she didn't have to talk. Hmph. Not helpful.

"It's not that we aren't grateful for this adventure you brought us on or anything," I started. "But Roe and I were wondering when we could go home."
