Gray's Little Sister

What the Hell?!

Gray's P.O.V

"Hey, have you seen Erika?" I asked everyone in the guild the same question. It's been a week since I saw her run out of that alley. She hasn't been to the house at all. But what I'm confused about is why Avery isn't with her? Avery came back about four days ago; she was beaten up pretty badly, and was exhausted. Today she went flying around Magnolia and to the surrounding villages looking for Erika.

"What's the problem, Popsicle Stick?" Natsu walked in, and found me in a mess. He grabbed my shoulder, and flipped me around. "Calm down, damn it. What's happened?" He released me; I stepped back a few inches. I noticed he had just come back from a job with Happy, Levy, Lily, and Gajeel. Odd seeing these three with Natsu and Happy.

"It's Erika. She didn't come back home about a week ago. Avery came back alone, all beaten up." I explained everything to him. Once I was finished, Natsu's body started to shake. He muttered something under his breath, then ran out of guild with Happy flying after him.

"What's wrong with Salamander?" Gajeel's rough voice spoke up from a table behind me. I spun around to face him. He was being very "comfortable" with Levy today; his arm around her waist, pulling her close to him.

"What's up with you two?" I asked out of curiosity. Levy looked up and blushed pushing Gajeel off the bench, and screaming 'Baka' at him. I think they're dating and don't want to make it obvious...who knows what's going on now a days! I thought to myself as I walked away in silence.

"Gray!" The mastered called over to me to get over there. "Any word on where your sister could be?" He spoke with complete concern for Erika. I shook my head in a regrettable 'no'. The master apologized, reassured me, and then dismissed me by a simple 'good luck'. I went and sulked in a corner while Mirajane gave me food and drinks. A couple of times people came over to talk with me, but I never felt any better. I sat there until Mira closed the guild down for the night.

I walked back to my house pathetically, but when I came upon my little cabin, I saw Natsu sitting on the ground leaning up against the front door, covered in snow. I rushed over to him, and to find Happy panting; exhausted from whatever had happened.

"Happy, what happened? And why is Natsu like this?" I asked the blue cat; carefully brushing off the snow from Natsu and Happy. Natsu was covered in wounds; unconscious. Happy tried his best to stand, but did not exceed (pun not intended); I bent down and placed the cat in an upright position.

"After you told Natsu about Erika missing, he told me to follow him. We flew for hours! Stopping for a couple of minutes. I think Natsu was tracking her down with his nose; like a hunting dog looking for game. We came up to this ginormous tree. But to find out that it was actually a house. Natsu said 'That's where Erika is. She's in there.' And he just ran in there, thinking he could get to her without anyone stopping him!!" Happy paused for several minutes.

"What happened, Happy?!" I pressured the exceed.

"I followed him. I called out his name. After an hour of doing so, I heard him scream. I ran into the room where I heard the scream, and there he was. Natsu was frozen in the air; arms, and legs spread eagle. On the other side of the room, I saw her. I saw Erika! She was like Natsu, in the same position. I wanted to help them, but I couldn't get anywhere near them. There was someone in the middle of the room who looked like..." Happy had paused, with tears welling up in his eyes, I picked him up and held him in my arms for a few minutes until he calmed down.

"Who did the person look like, Happy?" He looked up at me, then averted his eyes. After a few minutes, Natsu started to wake up. "Well good morning, Sunshine? Have a nice nap?!" I asked him; kinda irritated that he went off without me to look for my little sister by himself.

"YOU!!" He lunged for my neck, but got as far as just toppling over. Natsu yelled as he realized all the pain he was feeling. I didn't understand this at all.

"What the hell, Flame Brain?! What's your problem?!" I began to raise my voice. A simple tap on my arm brought my attention back to the cat. His eyes looked like he was regretting something.

"The man that I saw in the middle of that room looked like..." he paused, took a deep breath and finished, "he looked like you, Gray!!"

"What...did...you...just say?"

~~~A/N~~~ Hello my reader's! Sorry about this being a short chapter, and for not updating when I say I'm going to. Events get in the way. I got back home with my mom about 2 weeks ago, and realized that I left my laptop back with my dad, and step-family. I do my writing on my laptop; makes things a lot easier, and goes a lot faster when I edit the new parts. I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and I promise not to wait as long for the next update.
