Only Time Will Tell.... (Au)

//HARRY'S POV//

I followed Liam to the car, we got in and shut the door. I put the keys in the ignition and turned it the car came to a start and I put the car in reverse and started to back out of the drive way, suddenly Liam started crying, I stopped the car, put in in park, and turned to face him. 

"what's wrong?"

"its my mom...she...she..." he stuttered out. I pulled him into a hug. 

"shhhh it will be okay," i said in a soft tone, "what happened and take your time telling me. i don't want you to get worked up again love."  

"she....she...sh-" he took a deep breathe in, and looked at me with glassy eyes, "my mom got in a car accident, and i don't know if she is going to be okay."

"okay hey come on lets get to the hospital. But you shouldn't worry until we know here state. okay?" i put the key in the ignition and started the car, i couldn't stand to see Liam like this is felt so bad. 

//later//

Liam had been curled up in his seat looking out the window, so i decided to make a short pit stop. We pulled up intron of a tall gray building with lots of windows. "Why are we at Maya's?" he asked. 

"Because," i said as i parked the car and took the keys out of the ignition, "egh, you need someone to comfort you and i think Maya would do better at that then me." i opened the door and got out as he did the same. i walked around the car and he was fixing his hair in the mirror, i chuckled to myself slightly. "loverboy," he turned around and when he realized i had been watching him a faint blush took over his pale face. "Are you ready?" 

"yeah.."

Liam knocked on the door and i stood off to the side, after all it was his girlfriend. The large white door swung open. 

"hey babe!" she said as she leaned forward and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "come in." she said as she moved aside he walked forward and i stepped out from where i had been.

"oh hey harry! I'm sorry i didn't see you there, come in, come in." we all sat down on the couch, "can i get you anything to drink?" 

"no I'm fine."

"no thank you though."

"okay...oh my Liam have you been crying? What's wrong? Are you okay?" she questioned without taking i breath as she sat down next to her boyfriend. She pulled him into a hug as he started to cry again. "its-its-it" 

"shhhh it will be okay shesaid as she rubbed circles on his back. He started to continue as i walked out of the apartment. I walked down to the car got in and shut the door, i grabbed out my phone and pulled up louis contact. i pressed call, put it on speaker, and placed it on the dashboard. "hey babe." Louis' voice rang through the car 
"hey." i huffed out. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"Liam's mom got into a car crash."

"oh no..is she okay?" 

"i don't know yet. We made a pit stop at Maya's house because i figured id anyone could comfort Liam its her ya know."

"Yeh no makes sense." just then Liam's contact name popped up on the screen. "hey listen have to go, ill call you when i find anything out okay?"

"okay, I'll talk to you soon."

"okay, and call if you need anything."

"okay." and with that i waited for him to end the call and hit answer on Liam's call.

"there you are mate i was beginning to think you wouldn't answer, where did you go?"

"the car to call Lou, and let him know what's going on."

"okay well were on our way down."

"okay." they soon got in the car and began the drive to the hospital. they soon arrived, "ill drop you off at the waiting room doors, find a parking spot then come in okay?" 

"okay." the pair agreed.

I soon found a parking spot and made my way in i saw the two sitting in chairs in the corner. "hey, anything?"

"no." Maya said disappointed.

"not yet." And with that a doctor emerged from the doors, "Karen Payne?" he called out the trio stood up and ran over. 

"how is she?" Liam asked.

"Will she be alright?" I asked. She was like a mom to me she helped out a lot during the x-factor.

"she is and will be fine. She broke her arm and has a major concussion, so were going to keep her over night for observation. 

"oh thank god." Liam breathed out and turned to hug Maya. i shook the doctors hand, "thank you."

"no problem just doing my job." he replied.

"Can we see her?" Liam asked.

"yes she is in room 389." he said as he started to lead us down the hallway.

"coming mate?" Liam turned to me and asked.

"yeh I'm gonna call Lou and give him the update."

"okay."

I walked out the doors and over to a bench. i pulled out my phone and started to dial Lou's number,  just then i noticed a girl who noticed me. "crap." i breathed out as she walked over to me. "Are you Harry styles?" She asked. 

"umm yeah but look ple-"

"OH MY GOD ITS HARRY STYLES FROM ONE DIRECTION!!" she yelled. Suddenly there was a huge crowd of girls surrounding me, yelling everything. I was getting pushed around and it was hard to focus. Then i felt the concrete hit my face, and I couldn't get up all of the sudden i felt the worst pain ever in my ankle. "OWWWW!!" I yelled out as the room went dark, the last thing i saw was security yelling at everyone.
