Dinner

-Meliodas POV-

I was waiting at the gate. I don't think she will come, but waiting, just in case. The clock turned 6 pm. She wasn't here.

I stayed a minute more. She wasn't here. Then one more. She was still not here. Two minutes turned to 10 and I was about to walk inside again when I heard my name.

"Meliodas!" A female voice yelled. I turned around to see Elizabeth running here. She was so fast. For not using her power that is.

It didn't take long before she arrived, panting in front of me.

"S-sorry I was l-late. I-it was a big crowd with people that didn't let me through." She said. I just smiled at her and helped her stand up right.

"No need to say sorry. I'm just glad you came. Have you eaten anything?" I asked. She shook her head and said "No, didn't have time to."

Smiling, I said "Then we can go and eat first. I know a perfect place."

She nodded and we started walking to a restaurant.

We talked in the meanwhile and I tried to get so close to her as possible. Our hands was touching some time, but then she took it away. That was the closest I got to her.

We arrived at the restaurant and she looked amazed at the place as we walked inside.

"Like it?" I asked. She looked at me and said "I never been to a fancy restaurant, or at least not as fancy as this."

"The food here is great. Pick anything you want." I said to her with a smile as we sat down at a table for two. A waitress come with two menus for us to look at.

I looked through it and then decided to take a meat pie and drink some vanya ale.

"What do you want?" I asked and looked at her. She said "I don't know."

"You should try the meat pie or the chicken salad is good too." I said, pointing at them two on the menu. She nodded and said "I will pick the chicken salad."

"Drink then?" I asked.

"Just water." She said, making me ask her "You sure? It's many different choices. Different ale, vines and other drinks."

"I don't really drink alcohol." She said. It was first now when I thought about it, it was true. Every drink here have alcohol in it.

"Why not?" I asked.

"I never tried it before. My mom and dad says I'm too young for it." She said. I smiled at her and said "Well, you can try it now when you are with me if you want. If anything happens, I will walk you home, okay?"

"I rather not." She said. Then the waitress come again.

"Want to order?" She asked. I nodded and said "One meet pie, chicken salad, one Vanya and a little water."

"Coming right up." She said. Me and Elizabeth continued to talk and our food came soon enough. When we both was done, I saw Elizabeth had a bit of salad near her mouth.

"Wait, you have something there." I said and stretched out to take the salad away. I whipped it away with my thumb and smiled at her.

"Thank you." She said. She was so cute.

"Do you want any dessert?" I asked. She shook her head a no.

"Sorry, I'm full." She said. I nodded and a waitress come to take the bill. I paid and we walked out of there.

"What do you want to do now? Do you want to go buy something? Or do something?" I asked.

"Just walk around and talk will be fine." She said. I nodded and we did exactly that. Walked around and talked.

I got to know her so much. I wanted to know every detail about her.

-Elizabeth's POV-

I felt bad for lying to Meliodas. I was a human and needed to for not being banished, but still. He would hate me if he found out. Of course, everything wasn't a lie, but much was.

Then I can't stop thinking about the kiss and everything he is doing for me. Did he... really like me? No, everyone thinks I am strange because I don't have any demon mark out.

"Elizabeth?" Meliodas asked. I looked at him and said "Yes?"

"Could you... please show me your demon mark?" Meliodas asked. Why does he want to see that so much?

"Why do you want to see it so much?" I asked. He rubbed the back of his neck and said "I think you would look even more beautiful in it then you already are." He said. I blushed of the beautiful part.

"Sorry, but I don't like to show people it." I said. He nodded and apologised. We continued talk until we reached my home.

"This is where I live. Bye Meliodas." I said. He smiled and said "See ya."

With that, I walked inside my house to see mom and dad with crossed arms.

"Where were you in 6 hours?" Dad asked.

"With Meliodas." I said. Then mom started to fan girl.

"You will have a boyfriend! You will have a boyfriend!" She said. Stuttering, I said "N-no! I will n-not!"

"Besides, I'm a human, he is a demon. Would it really work?" I asked. Dad was the one who spoke "As long it is true love."

I smiled, said "Goodnight!" and went upstairs to bed.
