Boyfriend problems

-Meliodas POV-

It have been some months since I meet Elizabeth. I love her even more every second. It feels impossible. She have... actually showed some feelings. She doesn't take away her hand anymore when I 'accidentally' touches it, but that's it.

She is so cute I might die if she would say no to be my girlfriend. I have actually already planned a bit. I will ask her to be my girlfriend in about a year. That isn't too long away and she might show more signs.

If she shows that she doesn't like me like that, then I won't ask her... yet.

We was meeting at the gate again. We hang out pretty much in the castle, but in town too. Though, I have never been at hers. Just outside when I walk her home.

I haven't seen her demon mark yet either, but when I see her parents through the window, they have it, so she is a demon. I don't need to worry about that.

Elizabeth was walking towards me with a smile like usual. It didn't take long before she arrived.

"Hi Meliodas." She said. With a smile, I said "Hey Elizabeth. Let's go inside!"

We started walking inside as Elizabeth asked "Why so early today? Something the matter?"

I asked Elizabeth to come here earlier yesterday, just because I want to spend more time with her.

"Just wanted to have some alone time with you." I said, looking at her blushing from the corner of my eye.

We continued to talk on the way to my room. We have been there many times before.

-Elizabeth's POV-

We was in Meliodas room and talked. I actually like to spend time with him. He have asked me about the demon mark, but he doesn't make me show it. He is so kind.

Even that I have lied about being a demon, my age and that kind of things, I have tried to tell him the truth. Mom and dad doesn't even know I am hanging out with the demon prince. If they knew, they would freak out.

Neither in a good or bad way, just freak out.

It have been about a year since I meet Meliodas and I kinda... like him more then a friend. He is really kind and caring.

The only thing is that I am a human and he is a demon. It will never work out. My emotions is stupid. I can't fall in love with a demon.

We was home at Meliodas and we talked. Suddenly, Meliodas stood up.

"Something wrong?" I asked concern. Then he took both my hands in his and looked at me in the eyes. His black eyes turned emerald green as his demon mark vanished. This is the first time I have seen him without the demon mark.

"Elizabeth, I have been wanting to ask this a long time now." Meliodas started. He sounded nervous.

"I know it wasn't too long since we meet. Just a year, but..." He said. Not for him, but for me a year is pretty long.

"I was wondering if you... wanted to be my girlfriend?" Meliodas asked. That's why he was so nervous.

"Y-yes." I said, my cheeks heated up really much. He smiled and suddenly pulled me in a kiss. When we separated, he said "I love you." with a smile.

Smiling, I said "I love you too."

I shouldn't have said yes. I'm a human. This won't work out. I need to tell him, but... he's so happy. I can't ruin his moment.

"It's late, I think I should go." I said.

"You can stay over for the night if you want." Meliodas said. In a bit of panic, I come up with "I can't. I promised mom and dad to be home before dinner."

He nodded and we started walking. He walked me home like usually. We held hands the whole way, but he had activated his demon mark again.

When we arrived, he kissed me on the cheek before we bid goodbye and walked separated ways. I walked inside and he walked home again.

"Mom! Dad! I need to talk to you! It's important!" I said. They both walked downstairs doing whatever they was doing. It kinda looked like they was making out because dad had multiple marks of kisses over his whole face.

"What is it darling?" Mom asked, making me look at her and say "I did a big mistake."

"What did you do?" Dad asked softly. I looked down and said "I have a boyfriend now."

Mom started fan girling and asked "That's wonderful! What is he like? Is it that boy you meet at the festival a year ago?"

I nodded and said "But it doesn't feel good that he is a demon and I am a human. He doesn't know I am a human at all."

"Whatever you do, don't ever tell him. It must be your secret forever." Dad said. I nodded and slowly walked upstairs. Then I heard laughter before I entered my room and flopped in bed.

Thinking. Thinking. Thinking. What was I gonna do?! I really do like him, but if I tell him I am human, he will break up with me. He will banish me from the realm, but if I don't tell him... he might find out by himself and it will feel even worse. Besides, I will feel bad if I lie to him. Dad said I couldn't tell him I am human either.

What will I do?!
