Chapter 3: Too Far

♡three weeks later♡

I'm writing my notes during class then in the corner of my eye I notice a certain Pikachu  with his left hand cupping his cheek as his elbow rests on the desk. He was wearing a blank face. I lightly elbowed Kiri to get his attention.

"Is he okay?" I whispered to the shark boy while pointing at Kami

"Yeah he's fine, he's just daydreaming"

I wonder what he's thinking about...

♡Kirishima's pov♡

I slapped Denki's arm lightly but hard enough for the boy to come back to reality.

"bro, you're doing it again"

"No. I wasn't daydreaming about y/n"

"How did you know I was talking about her?" Denki facepalmed. "If you like her, be a man and go talk to her."

"what no... I-I don't like her"

"then why are you constantly staring and thinking about her?"

"I'm not..."

"you just were"

"okay I might think she's really cool and smart and pretty and-"

"Denki, the way you talk about her literally makes it obvious that you like her"

"I don't like her" I looked at him unamused "Okay maybe I like her... a little bit! Just a little bit..." he groaned "I don't know. She's just different from every other girl I've ever met. But, in a good way." Kaminari turned his head to look at the girl with her h/c hair pulled back into a high ponytail

"Well you're not gonna get anywhere if you don't talk to her one on one"

"yeah... but what would I even say?"

"Here's an idea. What if you ask her to hang out? If it makes you more comfortable, it can be with the squad and talk to her while we're all hanging out and as time goes by, eventually ask her for a one on one" Kaminari just nodded and returned to look at the girl. Once again getting lost in his thoughts.

He likes more than I thought

♡Brendan's pov♡

I overheard what Kirishima and Kaminari were talking about... it's not hard when one of them sits right next to me. I'm surprised that y/n didn't listen or pay attention to the two loud boys.

He likes y/n? I don't blame him, she's great. I would have a crush on her if we weren't related but there's no way y/n would ever fall for a boy like that dumbass

I walked over to the bakusquad table where I took my usual spot in between y/n  and Kirishima. The group was already having a conversation. Well, the girls were... about the pains of periods...

I wonder what it would feel like to have a period...

"so guys... why don't we all hang out tonight?" I questioned the table

"What a great idea Kaminari" Kirishima said in that one tone as if we had a plan... which we did, but he's supposed to act like we don't.

(a/n: I really hope you know what tone I'm talking about)

"Yeah sounds like fun. Who knew Kaminari could have good ideas..." Sero pointed out

"or just ideas in general" y/n covered her mouth as she giggled a bit at her own joke
