Liam needed to calm himself down after his latest ordeal with Alex. All of Liam's frustration that was caused by Alex was building up inside of him. It was threatening to boil over which made Liam want to pull his own hair out, and maybe Alex's too.He took a breather by strolling around the outside of the school building. The proud student didn't have it in him to completely waste the rest of the school period, so Liam decided to do something productive by running laps around the field track.
Liam eventually lost track of time when he realized the same people he shared last period with were now all dressed up and heading towards their next class. Liam acted quickly as he soon found himself the last one in the locker room.
Looking at the clock that was hung on the locker room wall, Liam realized that he didn't have enough time to use the school showers. He only had a couple of minutes left until Ms. Granalska would embarrass him in front of the class again for being late. She had a habit of making her students stand in front of the corner of the room for 5 minutes and hang their heads in shame, so Liam wanted to avoid it happening to him.
Liam ran to the sink and splashed some cold water over himself in a weak attempt to clean himself up. He then rifled through his bag that was stored underneath the bench as he then quickly switched his gym clothes with his regular ones.
Liam's haste of stuffing his bag caused everything to fall onto the ground. As he knelt to pick his belongings up, he looked up and turned his head when he heard footsteps along the puddled water from the showers.
Alex had a towel wrapped around his waist as he used the spare one in his hands to dry his hair. Water was dripping down his body as the confident man flaunted his physique by strutting through the locker room.
Completely engrossed in his own actions, Alex was oblivious to the only other person in the room with him. He was momentarily shocked to see Liam standing across the room from him, but his face quickly switched to stern and stoic when he came face to face with Liam.
"What are you doing here?" Alex asked Liam harshly.
Liam turned his back to Alex as he then stacked the bunch of papers that had fallen out of his bag. "Painting the fucking walls."
When Alex saw that Liam was heading towards the door, Alex held his towel in place as he lurched forward to stand and block Liam's path. "Not so fast."
Liam entertained Alex by engaging with him despite running late. He crossed his arms as he arched his brows to indicate Alex to continue speaking.
"I need you to wait for me while I get changed," Alex told Liam. "I don't want to walk to history alone since Ms. Granalska hates me."
Liam laughed in Alex's face as he sympathized with the older lady. "I wonder why..."
Alex ignored Liam's sarcasm as he then pointed to his own clothes near his locker. "Pass me my things so I can get changed."
"You can get changed when you pick up your own things." Liam attempted to walk past Alex when he ended up bumping up against Alex's chest. "Now my clothes are wet, asshole."
"The more you argue with me, the more your ass is going to get eaten by Ms. Granalska." Alex then looked up towards the ceiling as if he was completely nonchalant over the whole situation. "I'm not moving away from the door until you give me my shit. So let's speed things up where you finally do what I tell you too."
Liam was bouncing on his heels as time was truly ticking by. He let out a sound similar to an annoyed grunt because he knew he was being held hostage by the school jackass.
