They were still holding hands when they arrived at the park. The whole situation had tinted Akaashi's cheeks with pink.

"Hey 'Kaashi, are you cold?" Bokuto asked, being concerned about Akaashi's flushed face. Totally oblivious to the real reason his cheeks were rosy.

"Hm? No.. Not really." He replied.

Bokuto let go of Akaashi's hand and felt his forehead. "Ahhhh.... Akaaashiiii! You are cold! Your skin is like.. literal ice!"

He retrieved his hand from Akaashi's head and threw his arm around the new found ice cube's shoulders. "I'll warm you up!" Bokuto cheerfully exclaimed.

Akaashi's already slightly slouched shoulders lowered a bit with his friend's weight being added onto them. "Uh.. Thank you." He smiled.

All of the sudden Bokuto's face got even brighter. "I- I got you to smile!! This is a big accomplishment for me!"

"You accomplish so many great things, don't you? You're a miracle worker." Akaashi looked at Bokuto's cheerful expression.

"It's cause you're always by my side 'Kaashi! Life would suck without you."

"That's all you Bokuto-san."

"I wouldn't be who I am if you weren't always here motivating me. I thank you for that, Akaashi."

Akaashi couldn't tell if it was because Bokuto praised him or because Bokuto finally pronounced his name correctly but for no apparent reason, his face lit up bright red. "I- um.. I.. uh.. thank you." he smiled towards the ground.

"Akaashiii your face is still red! Are you still feeling chilly? Do you want to go home?" Bokuto said feeling once again concerned.

"If you want to, we can. I don't mind." Akaashi replied.

"Ok! Let's go 'Kaashi! I can't stand seeing you freeze your butt off just because of something I wanted to do." Bokuto snatched Akaashi's left hand and began running towards their shared home.

------------

It was already getting dark by time they decided to actually head home. After seeing Akaashi look so 'cold', Bokuto suggested that they should go get some hot food. Since it was one of their many favorite places, they wound up going to Mikado Udon*.

According to them, it was the best Udon shop in town. The restaurant's catchphrase "Udon so good it'll bring you to the gates of heaven", really fit the bill.

Hunger really consumed Bokuto as he ordered 3 bowls of Niku Udon. He just couldn't help it. The way the beef would so amazingly cooked made his mouth water just thinking about it.

"Hey 'Kaashi, I'm paying tonight."

"Oh? Ok." Akaashi looked at Bokuto who had just finished his 3rd bowl. "Did you get enough to eat?"

Shoving one last bite of rice into his mouth he mumbled "Yeah. What about you? Did you get enough?"

With a small stomach, knowing he's most likely gonna eat a snack later, and him still being on his first bowl of Kake Udon, "Yeah, I'm starting to get full."
