I know I said no more RWBY for a while, but I don't have anything I had finished. Thanks, Wattpad. I suppose it's been a while anyway.
Glynda Goodwitch, Huntress and Professor of Combat at Beacon Academy. To say she was professional would be an understatement. Glynda always did her best to dress for success, and it had worked out so far. A fantastic house, a job that paid well, a position where she could help people, yet she didn't feel successful. Her students didn't like her strictness, and her fellow teaching staff are either pervs or super annoying. Today was a new day, though. She was going to try to listen to Peach. Glynda opens the door to her room and begins the walk to her classroom. She passes Port's classroom, no perverted shit gats said, then she passes Peach's classroom, and she doesn't appear. So far, the day was good. Glynda enters her classroom and slips into her office to prepare for the day.
A few hours later and there was a knock on her office door. She turns, and Ozpin enters.
"Glynda," he says, looking her up and down, "you look like you're ready for a promotion."
"Why, thank you."
"I think I may need some convincing, though," he says, gesturing towards his crotch.
"I don't know what you could be suggesting," Glynda says, activating a small recording device under her desk.
"You can either give me what you have hiding under those clothes, or you can do some missions for me like you used to."
"I will never do anything sexually with you, even if the survival of life on this planet depended on it. I will also never go back to intimidating politicians who disagree with you," Glynda says, tightening her grip on her riding crop.
"I guess you won't mind escorting team RWBY on a mission in Atlas then?"
"Atlas? They are only first years."
"I guess you will have to work extra hard then," Ozpin says before disappearing out the door. Glynda sighs and puts her head in her hands.
"I hate this place so much. Maybe this mission to Atlas will be just what I need." Glynda gets up and walks to team RWBY's dorm. She knocks on the door, and Ruby answers, still in her pajamas.
"M-Ms. Goodwitch, can I help you?"
"I need you, girls, to get ready for a mission to Atlas. I will be accompanying you."
"When do we leave?" Ruby asks, rubbing her eyes.
"As soon as possible."
"I'll wake up my team. See you soon, Ms. Goodwitch."
"I'll be waiting near the Bullhead landing whenever you finish," Glynda says. She walks to the bench in front of Beacon.
"It's rude to lie to students." A male voice asks from behind her. Glynda turns to see a man in a suit sitting on the bench on the other side of the small fountain.
"Excuse me?"
"You said you'd meet them at the Bullhead landings, 20 meters from this fountain."
"Do I know you?"
"I'd think you'd know me quite well after what you used to do for Ozpin."
"I could never forget the faces of the people I hurt doing that, and I don't remember you."
"Do you remember Mia Savills?"
"No."
"She was a 14 year old from Vaccou that Ozpin raped and killed after you got him more power. She had a very bright future, her and her silver eyes."
"Was she someone to you?"
"I don't know why you'd remember me when you've forgotten far more important people."
"Why are you here?"
"I'm an accountant of sorts, and someone is about to make a deposit here."
"Oh, you work for Ozpin."
"No, I will collect from him one day. I just don't know when." Team RWBY walks out of Beacon, and Glynda looks at them before turning back to the man, only for him to no longer be there.
"We're sorry if we took too long, Ms. Goodwitch. Yang had to spend forever on her hair."
"That's fine. Let's board a Bullhead and head out," Glynda says, leading the small group away from the academy.
"Who were you talking to, Ms. Goodwitch?" Weiss asks
"I didn't catch his name. Why do you ask?"
"I used to see him a lot when I'd visit my family's dust mines as a child. He looks the same."
"How old were you? He looks about the same age as me. You couldn't have been that young."
"I was three when I first saw him, and the last time I visited the mines was when I was five."
"Strange," Glynda says, and they board a Bullhead.
I know this one was shorter than usual, but it was a nice stopping point, so, meh.
