I sat in my dorm my shoulder was stitched and now was wrapped in a bandage, I heard a knock and I turned slightly "Just a second" I said and walked to the door and opened it to see Draco who was escorted by the Head boy, Cho, and Luna "what's up?" I asked my eyes distant but I knew who were standing in front of me, "Malfoy wanted to see you... And was scouting out the Common Room entrance waiting for one of us..." The head boy said and I nodded looking at Draco my face plain and still pale except for the burn that still scarred my face, Draco entered and I smiled slightly to the others before closing the door and turning to Draco "hey... what ya need?" I asked looking at him before I went back to packing my stuff and he sighed. "Sam... Look at me... I need to check your shoulder" I turned my eyes focused now as I looked at him and I moved my head to the side before I processed what he meant and I pull off my hoodie and pulled my shirt to the side, the bandage had gone old and Draco grabbed a new long bandage and removed it to check the stitches and I remained silent and looking at the wall. "Sam? Are you alright... You have stayed cooped up in here after getting out of the Hospital Wing... And you barely talk to Harry, Ron, Hermione... Or I..." He said as he replaced the bandage and I pulled my shirt back up and I turned to look at him guilt in my eyes and he looked at me worried.

Draco sat me down and sat next to me as he settled his leg in front of me and his left leg hanging off the bed as I sat criss cross, "I knew he was gonna die..." I said and Draco looked at me his jaw clenched as I didn't meet his eyes "what do you mean Sammy?" He asked and I met his eyes, "I had a dream..." I said but froze "well... It was more of a nightmare... But..." I trailed off as I looked up at Draco who was looking at me intently and he reached forward putting his hands on mine on my lap, "I saw Cedric... Dead... I knew he was gonna die... And I tried saving him... But... He still died..." I whimpered and Draco then grabbed my hands and pulled me towards him and wrapped me in a hug as I began to cry again "Shhh...." He said and he laid back so he was laying on the pillows with me pulled into him. "Why did you stay my friend... I am emotional as hell... and honestly I suck... I hurt you..." I whimpered and his grip tightened around me as he rested his forehead on mine, "Just because that happened means nothing Pup..." He said and I met his eyes and my jaw clenched and I gulped. "I... Uh... Also one other thing..." I said and he looked at me warmly and I inhaled gently before meeting his light but dark eyes, "I... Am a Animagus..." I said and he looked at me confused "what do you mean?" He asked and I got up out of his arms and stood up altogether, I gulped and continuing to hold eye contact I shifted into my animagus form, the large black wolf sniffed and sneezed and Draco sat up and sat on the edge of the bed his eyes wide "y-you were the wolf I was talking to oh Merlin... This has got to be good... Why didn't you tell me?!? When did it happen!?!?" He asked loudly and my ears pinned back and I sat down my head lowered, I heard a sigh and a hand touched the top of my head as it dragged to behind my ears and the dog part of me leaned into it and I huffed before nosing his hand away and shifting back. "It happened last year..." I said and he frowned "that makes sense..." He said and I sat cross legged on the floor as Draco sat in front of me his legs out in a 'V' shape and I looked at him. "Thanks for staying my friend Draco... I honestly wouldn't know what to do if you weren't here... I said and he looked at me warmly and moved a piece of my hair behind my ear, "I am only excited for next year because then we can hangout again" he admitted smiling at me warmly, I smiled at him a blush blossoming on my cheeks as I looked at him and his hand settled on my cheek. I leaned into it my cheeks heating up slightly and I smiled at him as I opened my eyes "I will Owl you... I promise... I am sure Quicksilver will be happy to see me..." I said giggling and Draco smiled, I hummed in thought and stood up, "I have a gift for you... It's a... Uh promise gift..." I said and he looked at me as I walked to the medium sized box of rings, necklaces, and bracelets that were my moms. I turned to him a smile on my face, "which one?" I asked and he looked at me before he reached in and grabbed a ring, I inspected it and tested it on his finger it fit perfectly and I looked at it confused it had a wolf engraving and sapphire eyes, I smiled warmly and dropped it in Draco's hand. He inspected it and put it on his hand then he hugged me and nuzzled into my neck, sending chills down my spine as he was careful of the scarred side and I sighed warmly nuzzling into his chest.
