Liberty's Room

"Oh god, I must be crazy. What the fuck did I just do?" It's the 25th time Liberty said that.

After the fight, she cried for hours in her room. It was at this moment when she knew...she fucked up.

She sat on her bed and started biting her nails. Liberty was cursing her inner demons for making a big fuss earlier, but she knows deep inside her that she also wanted it.

A knock from her door stopped her from panicking.

"Ate?" JR on the other side of the door called her. Her face immediately grimaced.

"What now, JR? Are you asking permission now? That's so not you, go on, don't be shy, maging baboy ka pa." Liberty uttered, pissed.

"N-No, I just want to ano, uhm," JR can't say what he's thoughts, he was so scared he can barely move his lips.

"What?!" Liberty shouted, making JR jumped in surprise.

Liberty waited for his brother to say something but minutes passed, she still haven't heard anything from him. Liberty got up from her bed and walked towards her door. She held the doorknob and was about to open it when she steps on something.

A letter.

Liberty picked it up and sat on the carpet, where Saturday is currently fucking a teddy bear. Brows furrowed, she opened the letter. Her eyes went bloodshot when she saw a red stain on it, it was frosting.

She threw the paper under her bed and started crying, again. The cake was just...so precious to her. To be captivated, it was her first.

"Fuck, I want to eat the flower..." Liberty whispered, pulling her hair while crying.

She was crying for straight two hours, she didn't even have the likes to open her phone and rant on Twitter or to her friends. She was just...down and upset.

Her gaze went down to her toes when she felt Saturday licking it.

"Aww, you're now comforting me, horny doggo?" she said, talking to the dog.

Saturday barked at her as if saying yes. She giggled and picked the dog up, letting it sit on her lap. Liberty was caressing Saturday's fur when her eyes caught the combat knife Rill gave her. It was beside her toes. She looked at Saturday, did he brought that thing to her?

Liberty reached for the knife and memories of the cake appeared in her head, making her feel a strong rage of anger. She stood up surprisingly, making her pet dog fall.

Liberty's mind was, once again, blank and red. Walking dazedly to the door, Liberty's shaking hands found their way to the doorknob.

She walked like a drunk man in the hallway as she started fidgeting with the combat knife, it was her muscle memory acting on its own. Liberty learned to play knife for she always attempts to commit suicide, yet she always fails.

Liberty stopped in front of her brother's room, JR's room. The door was slightly open so Liberty made herself into the room.

The room was cold as ice, making her stiffer. A piece was still playing, Kreutzer by Beethoven, Liberty guessed.

She roamed her eye around the whole place, it was full of musical instrument and music sheets were everywhere. Liberty's eyes darted on the person sleeping on the antique piano.
