I hold Emily's hand as we walk down the streets of New Orleans.
"I can't believe your family was basically royalty here" she said looking around at everything. "Yea my mom and her siblings" I say. "I'm sorry if this is making you sad" she stops walking which makes me stop.
"I'm not sad I'm just a little disappointed in my mom,she use to call and send presents and that all just stopped and it makes me mad, like if you was gonna walk out on your kids then maybe you shouldn't have got pregnant five times" I huff and a flower stand that was next to us explode.
We duck and Emily grabs my hand and pull me away.
"Calm down jo" she said and I sigh as she holds my face.
"I'm sorry" I tell her. "It's ok, and at least your mom tried Joanna mine left me on the doorstep of Damon and Elena Salvatore house"
I lean in and kiss her. "Your right" I say when we pull away. "I know I am" she smiles.
