Caramel met Sam a year after she left New Orleans. She didn't know he was from starcrust to a year of them dating.
He told her he is supposed to be crowned king but he doesn't want to be and would like for his brother to be but his biological mom don't want that. Turns out he never knew his real mom till he turned 28 that's when he met her.
Also caramel and Sam's family are friends and want the two to get married but they don't feel up to that.
Sam is a hybrid. He's a werewolf and demon sense that's what people call them.
He don't perform magic like others.
Sam has a two sons who stay in starcrust with his mother side of the family. He lost his girlfriend which is his sons mother when his youngest was born.
Caramel thought that he was only talking to her because of who they're family is but it was all real which made her feel loved. She hasn't felt loved since Alaric so it was good to have someone else.
By her side going threw the same thing she was.
