If there was one thing you lacked, it was self control.
When your boyfriend, Shino, wasn't looking, you tended to take one of his shirts from his dresser. They were a bit big on you, but you didn't complain.
The funny thing about it was that he never noticed if one of his shirts was missing. He had tons of them, so admittedly, it wasn't like this was unexpected, but you honestly thought Shino was more observant than that.
⠀⠀
So when he found you with one of his shirts in your arms, the both of you were surprised. "Is that my shirt?" He had asked, genuinely not knowing, because, for all he knew, all of his shirts were in his dresser drawer where he had left them.
Oh, how wrong he was.
"What about it?" You had asked, still holding the shirt. "I like wearing your clothes."
Shino honestly didn't know what to say to that. Why would you want to wear his clothes? You had perfectly good clothes of your own that you could wear, so why take his? However, he didn't comment on it. He simply shrugged and left you be.
⠀
The look on Shino's face when he saw you with a different shirt honestly made you want to double over with laughter. Did he genuinely not know that you had been practically stealing his shirts? You managed to keep your cool, though, and you stayed where you were, the sweater still folded over your arm. "Yes, this is another one of your shirts," you had told him before he could say anything, "it's not the only one I have. I have a bunch more, you know. I've been practically taking them right under your nose. Are you sure you haven't noticed?"
He shook his head. "I haven't noticed. You'd think that would be something I noticed."
⠀
The thing he did notice was you, lounging about with about a dozen of his shirts strewn about the bed, almost making a makeshift bed of their own.
"This is my collection," you laughed, gesturing to the shirts. "It's fun, isn't it? I can't believe I've managed to take this many."
He simply hummed in response. "You're clever, and I'll admit that. Can I have them back now?"
"No," you said with a smile, gesturing for him to lay on the bed with you. After he stared at you for a few moments, you sighed. "Oh, alright. But I get to keep a couple."
"How many is a couple?" He asked, looking at you with a raised eyebrow.
"Three or four."
"I think I can deal with that," he told you before taking a majority of the shirts in his arms and placing them back into the dresser. "You can only keep those four, got it? Next time I go on a mission, I'm leaving bugs here to watch you."
You sighed. "Fine. Thanks for understanding."
"What about this conversation made you think I understood?"
