"Do you think he'll be okay?" Minnie asked, worried.

"He'll be fine," Arthur assured her, looking at her from across the fire he had built as they both decided that they were too far away from camp to attempt to ride back with lawmen patrolling the roads. "You want some of this rabbit?" He asked, flipping the game meat over, glancing at her as she was now sitting next to him as she decided to stop getting up to check on Trace every few minutes.

"In a minute." She replied, looking over her shoulder to again check on Trace, who was picking at the grass.

"You shouldn't worry that much. It looked worse than what it actually was."

"I know that, Arthur," She sighed. "I just care a lot for him. He's the last thing I have that means the world to me." She frowned.

"I understand," He sighed. "That's how I feel about the gang. Well, some people of the gang I don't care much for."

"Like Micah." She scoffed.

"Him and a couple of others. Say, how do you know him anyway?"

She sighed, "We had a past. Used to run together for a while. He's the most disloyal cat I've ever laid my eyes on. Won't be surprised if he was the one who told the law about us robbin' that train." She scoffed, taking a sip of her coffee.

"I don't think he knew about that train. The job came up too quick for him to know and he was in jail anyway. What did he do?"

"The same as what he's plannin' to do to this gang," She said, striking a streak of fear through Arthur's veins. "Haven't seen him for a while, but you told me that he was the one in jail back in Strawberry. Just like I told ya back there: he comes back to camp runnin' that dick-sucker, I'm gonna end him." She warned.

Arthur's jaw dropped as he was still trying to process everything. He trusted Minnie, but he couldn't help but think about the stories he had heard about her. Everything involving being a private spy for the Pinkertons to lying to keep herself covered. He didn't know who to trust anymore, but his gut was telling him to trust her over Micah at least. "What did he do?"

"After I cut ties with government work, I met him in a saloon up north. We got to talkin' about different things and I somehow mentioned that I had a few people riding with me, so he sweet-talked me into thinking he was the most trustworthy man I could have. He knew who I was and who I worked for, so the whole time I was out robbin' trains and banks, he had been goin' to my former supervisor tellin' him everything I was planning. It didn't take me long to put the pieces together after every job I went on that left him behind had lawmen and Pinkertons close behind."

Arthur looked down at his arm to see goosebumps erected. It was all starting to make sense, but he had no proof for this claim. He wondered if Micah had anything to do with lawmen showing up at the train or even the failed Blackwater heist, remembering that Pinkertons showed up way too fast after the explosion on the ferry. He gulped, "So... You think he's doin' the same to us?"
