After Sonic got some rest as he walked around he felt some strange power like it was trying to break free, but for some reason he had something else on his mind, well more like someone. Then as he was walking around he saw he was in a frost place with a waterfall and parts of an old temple place around him "huh this place gets weirder and weirder every step" Sonic said then winced in pain as his fight with Yang still hurt like hell "SONIC!" he heard someone call his name he looked on to get tackled to the ground and saw it was Ruby "Ruby!" Sonic said "hi Sonic I'm so glad to see you again!" she said with joy in her voice "hi Ruby while I do love hugs mind getting off me cause I'm still recovering" he asked as his body was screaming in pain as she noticed him in pain she got him quickly as he stood he saw that she looked really scared "what happened?!" she asked with cornen in her voice "well do you know a woman called yang?" Sonic asked "yeah she's my sister why?" Ruby replied "Well I met her and another friend of yours and they attacked me. Someone called Yumi appeared and helped me, but your sister did a number on me. That's why I'm still healing" Sonic explained then saw Ruby looked really sad and guilty "I'm sorry Sonic" she told him "hi don't be i'm sure it's just a misunderstanding" Sonic replied making her smile, until "your left!" Sonic heard a voice and grabbed Ruby and moved out of the way of an attack "who's there?!" Sonic shouted as a girl with black dress and had an umbrella "who are you?!" he questioned her as he was still holding Ruby bridal style but she didn't she was just blushing and stared at Sonic. "My name is Rachel, I want those gems of yours" Rachel said while pointing at Sonic.

"What gems?" Sonic asked "this one" she said as she held a fourth Chaos Emerald "Why do you want the emeralds?" Sonic asked again "not your business" she replied "I know that voice"??? Said they looked to see that same guy that Sonic fought earlier with Ragna, Waldstein.

"You again?!" Sonic said as place Ruby on her feet "it seems like you have been through pride in the battle and taken a painful attack yet you keep going you have true warrior spirit in you" Waldstein speeched "oh...uh. Thanks I guess" Sonic replied "no more talk giving me those Gems!" Rachel ordered "back off bunny girl!" Ruby restored "well looks like the next match is already getting started!" the voice said "wait no! Sonic still recovering" Ruby shouted "I'll be fine Ruby" Sonic reassured her "let do this try not to get in my way" Rachel told Waldstein "don't worry for this battle with be for the honour of battle" Waldstein said "ready Ruby?" Sonic asked her as he stood up straight while shaking a little "yeah just be careful Sonic" Ruby replied "let this match start!!" the voice said Sonic instantly went for Waldstein homing attacking him in the chest forcing him back until Waldstein grabbed Sonic still in ball and threw him away the Rachel appeared and swung her umbrella at Sonic but was blocked by Ruby scythe as Sonic landed on his feet but fell to his knees "Sonic!" Ruby shouted then Waldstein smack her away "R...uby...." Sonic said struggling to breath Waldstein was standing in front of Sonic looking down.
Sonic tried to sucker punch him but got smackdown by Waldstein but Sonic got back on one need "you have fought well but you are too wounded to continue fighting so I will knock you out of this fight as show of respected" Waldstein said raising his metal arms up "SONIC MOVE!" Ruby called out and Sonic was in black void....

Sonic blocked Waldstein's attack with little effect as everyone saw his eyes were red and had a red outline on his body while growling at Waldstein "W-what...?!" Waldstein said in shock before getting punched in the gut then thrown away, "what in the-" Rachel couldn't finish as she was punched in the face as she land next to Waldstein she saw that Sonic was different he aura was covering him and gave him a tail as both her and Waldstein struggled to move an inch Sonic formed a purple orb in his hand and charged at them as the attack connected sent Rachel and Waldstein flying but Sonic then dropped his knees dropping out of the form barely able to breath "SONIC!" Ruby rushed over to him as she saw him barely staying awake "Sonic you okay?" She asked "(pant)....yeah....(pant)....need some....time....to....breath" he told her as his eyes were back to his emerald green eyes then a Chaos Emerald that Rachel had dropped next to them as Ruby picked it up and handed to him "Thanks....Ruby....welp better get moving" he said as forced himself to his feet "Sonic can barely stand let along keep fighting!" Ruby tried to reason with him "I know but I promise I take it easy, and if people ask me to fight I'll run like a mad man" he said to her "alright I need to let my team and SISTER know that you are on our side" Ruby told him "alright be safe Ruby" he said while starting to walk but was stopped as Ruby put her arms around him he turned to her "Ruby....?" He said she then gave him a quick peck on the cheek "please be careful Sonic" she begged then walked away with Sonic just smiling at her then walked his way 'I just hope I don't fight anyone soon I need time to rest and recover' he thought stumbling along....
