The Boss

I made it to the office right on time. John was already there waiting for me with all the other board members who looked very confused. My lawyer was also waiting for me with the contract that gave me Ralphs's shares of the company.

"Ladies and gentlemen please take a seat." I said handing my stuff to John and taking a seat.

"So, as many of you might know. The charges against Robert have been dropped. In front of me, I have this contract stating that my brother Ralph Musk has legally given me his shares of me company, making me the majority shareholder of the company. Outbidding both my father and the rest of you guys. I know the majority of those seating here today and appreciate the work you put in so even though a vote is not needed I will extend the courtesy to you guys and vote upon firing and stripping any ownership from that man" I said firmly looking at the board members.

" Let's get started. All those in favor raise your hand" the lawyer addressed us

" I see a 9/10 Miss. Musk, therefore making you sole owner and majority shareholder of Musk Enterprises and companies and taking away Mr. Robert Mu- I mean Robert Gardner any power over the company. As well as his right to use Musk as the last name since that was written on his company contract for business purposes by your grandfather Enzo Musk and not by marriage to Miss. Gabrielle. The meeting is adjourned and you're free to go unless you have any objections."

" Well, I sure do. I do not accept such an outcome and demand Mr. Musk is reinstated. Miss. Y/N is new to the company therefore her vote shouldn't outweigh mine who has been working here for 30 + years." The guy who voted against demanded.

"Well excuse me Mr. Downing but you are aware that Mr. Gardner has done nothing for this company right? It was all my mother who created the incredible technology and is still contributing to this day. You never once thought to ask why he does not have a university diploma in his office? Oh right, it is my mother the one that went to MIT and Harvard, so excuse me if I am keeping you ladies and gentlemen but Mr. Gardner has no right to be in this company besides a marriage certificate. So Mr. Downing if you do not agree with my decision you are more than free to leave the company. You won't be missed."

"I am sorry Ms. Musk I was out of line, I appreciate what you are doing and I agree he should leave. If you would excuse me and my comments, I was really good friends with your father and I just can not believe what he has done."

" It is totally fine Mr. Downing, I appreciate the apology and since nobody else has any objections then the meeting is adjourned."

I walked out of the building to see Bruce and Ralph waiting for me by car.

"How did it go sis? Dad is at home getting a massage done and having some lunch he is clueless about what is going on."

" Well you are looking at the new CEO, President, and face of Musk Enterprises," I said with tears starting to well in my eyes.

"It's all going to be okay Y/N, I have always admired you. You are so strong and independent. You are a genius for god sake you went to Harvard. You are going to do just fine sis" my brother said hugging me.

I immediately started feeling dizzy and in a heartbeat, my vision turned black.

"Y/N, Y/N wake up." I heard my mother saying.

"What happened?" I said looking around, I was at home in my room.  My vision was blurry and I was still a bit disoriented but I could see my embarrassing posters of my celebrity crush when I was younger.  So I knew where I was.

"You fainted, Bruce and Ralph brought you over."

"Where is he?" I said sitting up quickly almost fainting again from lightheadedness
