Piper, Jake, Olivia, and Trason are standing on a beach in the Bay Area. Trason sees a sign up ahead that says 'Bay Area Beaches' and throws a rock at the word 'Bay' on the sign.
"What was that about?" asks Piper.
"I just don't think it should be right to call it the Bay Area," replies Trason.
"Why?"
"Cuz it not a FRICKIN BAY,"
"Trase, they're not gonna call it the "estuary area". It just doesn't sound right. Anyway, we need to get to the Mariana Trench. The Magic Lord of Water put the gem in the deepest place on earth which is the Mariana Trench," says Olivia.
"It's gonna be really dangerous since there's a lot of seismic activity there," says Piper.
"Guys as much as I'd hate to say it but for our survival and safety I think we need to know the odds here," says Jake.
"I agree. Hold on let me get my brother on," says Olivia.
She takes out her phone and swipes up. A small video call hologram screen showing Oliver's face comes up out of her phone's camera.
"Is everything alright?" asks Oliver.
"Yeah! I just need you to run down the calculations for the possibility of having an unwanted earthquake when we're down in the Mariana Trench," says Olivia.
"I had a feeling you were going to ask that. So I already ran down to the calculations," says Oliver.
"Typical Oliver. Always one step ahead," Trason.
Oliver takes a look at his phone and looks back up with a sad face.
"The 92% chance that you guys will get an unwanted earthquake,"
"Great. Just what we need. An unwanted underwater earthquake when searching for a gem in a deep dark place. Okay guys listen up, we teleport there in our air bubble, Look for a small faint blue glow and get out of there. " says Olivia.
Lance overhears the conversation in the video call. He comes on the screen and chimes in.
"Look I don't want to sound like our lives matter more than a million others-not that our lives don't matter, they do but...What I'm trying to say is...The magnitude is a 7.6 do you guys have a death wish!?"
"I know this is risky but Olivia's right we need to take our chances," says Jake.
"Guys Ivia already died for this. We can't have more people dying!" says Lance
"Lance, I know you're upset about what happened to Ivia. But that doesn't mean we're gonna die. Well not right now," says Piper.
"Just be safe okay!" says Lance
"Lance, why don't you go and help Arista with sails," says Oliver.
Lance leaves the video call with a worried face, hoping that his friends and only family survives.
"Why don't you guys wait at the beach and have some time with each other while me and Trason get the portal deporter and the air bubble ready," suggests Oliver.
Everyone else agrees.
