Chapter 7

"Hanji, I'm," Hanji cut off Levi again.

"I can't bear you fighting knowing we both feel this way. That's why we as soldiers compress our emotions. You, of all people, should know what it's like to finally let yourself love someone, and then the person you love most is snatched away.

Levi only smiled at her and placed his hand on her heart. Levi knew that feeling all to well...

"I will always devote my heart to you, whether in life or death. Not telling you that was my one regret. I want to leave the world behind and just stay here with you. That's what I should have told you," this time Levi had let out a tear.

"You heard me say that; what are you talking about? That's what you should have said."

"It doesn't matter," he sighed.

"Hanji, even if we did manage to defeat Eren, what's next. Without Eren, we'll be ambushed by every nation. There will be no one to protect us; if Marley can't even stop Eren, what chance do we have.

"That doesn't matter, " before Hanji could continue, Levi yelled at her.

"YES, IT DOES HANJI YOU"LL ONLY END UP DEAD WITH NOTHING ACCOMPLISHED. EREN SHOWED ME THE FUTURE. THIS IS OUR ONLY OPTION; I'VE LOST SO MANY PEOPLE I CARED ABOUT BUT WON'T LOSE YOU!"

Hanji paused for a moment, unsure of how to respond.

"You saw the future, Levi?"

"yeah...in the future, you died fighting off colossal titans so we could escape. Shortly after, we were transported to the paths, and Eren sent his memories to me in the past. Hanji, you have to believe me; we can't stop Eren. We'll only be dooming ourselves for what's to come. I've seen it all... every single scenario; this is the only option we have. We need to stay docile and wait for what's to come.

"Levi I."

"...You know the last words I said to you were devote your heart," Levi let out a stressed laugh. "That's all a dumbass as like me could say to you. All I could think about is this moment, me saying I wanted to live with you instead. I was blinded by my own rage, I wanted to kill Zeke. My decision got you killed Hanji, I'm sorry.

"... Levi, all my life, I've never gotten to be selfish. I've always pushed aside my own personal desires for humanity. Including my feelings for you," Hanji grabbed his collar, and looked down. Her words she let out were in a soft yet sad tone.

 Hanji hesitated to say what she wanted to communicate, in those moments she made up her mind. 

"I don't want to be selfless anymore." Hanji pulled his collar, and their lips both met. This time their kiss wasn't rough; it was passionate, and both of them couldn't help but get teary. They let out every single locked in emotion they had. After a while of embarrassing each other Levi took another step. Hanji was definingly not prepared for it as she almost immediately rejected his offer, and broke off the kiss. She stared into his grey eyes that weren't cold and emotionless anymore. They were filled with life, and happiness. She took off her goggles and her shirt.

"You sure you wanna do this here?"

Before Levi could answer, he was interrupted.

"Commander...Captain?" Jean said as his jaw dropped. He literally had stumbled upon his Captain and Commander half-naked, kissing each other in the middle of the forest. Unfortunately, not only had he interrupted the moment, but the whole squad was behind him. Most were in denial! Half of them thought Hanji didn't even like humans but titans. Nor did they think Hanji and Levi of all people would ever hookup.

"We've been looking for you guys everywhere," Connie said, looking down, trying not to see Hanji's exposed body.

Levi handed Hanji the cover over him, "What? We're both adults; there nothing unusual about it," Levi stated in a normal tone.

"Are you saying you do this often since when," Mikasa fell over with a bloody nose seeing Levi's shredded figure."

"Mikasa, that's you fucking cousin," Jean said, jealous.

"You mean distant relative."

Finally, Hanji spoke," Sigh, you stupid children," As she put her glasses back on and retied her hair. "Couldn't you see we were doing something."

"Sorry, Section Commander Hanji," Everyone said in unison.

      "Don't call me that anymore; there's no reason for us to fight. From here on, I'm a normal person, and so is Levi." She put back on her shirt and stood up. Hanji looked down and immediately threw the cover back over Levi. The others noticed but acted like they didn't.

I really wanna die right now, is what everyone was thinking. Armin was the only one not surprised.

 "I'm shocked you guys are so surprised , I mean their always flirting. Not to mention together, and don't get me started on their weird telepathy, " Armin said with his hand on his chin.

"Oh... my... fucking... god... your... right," Connie said, as the others agreed.

  "Tch, brats," Levi was very embarrassed although he didn't show it. He was also pretty angry at them because he didn't know when he was going to get a chance like that again.

 "You heard Hanji, I've had a look at the future, and its best we trust in Eren," Levi said.

   "Wait so you mean to tell me Erens scene the future," Armin said.

      "Yeah, in-fact he's relived his life 2,000 times trying to avoid what he doing now. However even if we were wiped out by the enemy nation, blame would still be put on Marely. They would continue to war until they all died." What Eren's is doing is selfish but for best.

 "I see, we'll leave to you Eren," Armin said.

  "I Suppose were free," Levi said.

     Hanji walked over to him and kissed him, "I suppose we are."

Are you guys sure," Mikasa answered back.

"Oh, and Mikasa, why did you lie to him."

"What do you mean? She said blushing," she knew what he meant.

"I don't know why you even bothered lying. He can read your thoughts,"Levi

"He's trying to say don't go down the road of denial; if you love him, let yourself feel it," Hanji said.

"Tch yeah, that."

"Your right," Mikasa walked over to Jean and kissed him on the lips." Jean passed out.

WHAT THE HELL."

"Is that Eren," Connie said.

"EREN IM SORRY, I SHOULD HAVE LIED TO YOU. YOUR NOT MY FAMILY, I DONT VIEW YOU THAT WAY. I VIEW YOU AS SOMETHING MORE. YOUR SOMEONE WHO WOULD ALWAYS RAP MY SCARF AROUND ME. SOMEONE WHO TAUGHT ME HOW TO LIVE. I LOVE YOU, EREN... OKAY, EVER SINCE I MET YOU, I LOVED YOU."

Eren appeared before he and pulled her in to kiss her.

"I'm sorry...I'm so sorry. I never hated you; he took her scarf and wrapped it around her. Then he vanished.
