I lay on the top of my duvet. I was angry; I couldn't see Jughead the whole weekend. In fact, the only thing to keep me company, was a greasy plate of fries from lunch.
Just then, there was a small tap on the window. Jughead! I opened the window and he climbed in, "Hey there, Juliet," he said,
"What are you doing here Jug?" I asked,
"Is it not okay to miss my girlfriend?" He laughed,
"Oh, Jug," I said, planting a kiss on his head,
"I brought these," he said, holding up a packet of ready-made popcorn and a DVD of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
"Your so thoughtful," I ushered,
"I know,' he said, clearly proud of himself.
We layed down on the bed, I cuddled into Jughead's chest, "Betty?" He said, "I need to tell you something and it's totally fine if you take it the wrong way,"
"Your making me nervous," I said
"Well then..." he inhaled deeply, "I love you Betty Cooper,"
My heart was racing, I was completely shocked but I did love Jughead, "I love you too, Jug,"
Then, I snuggled into him and watched the movie.
When Jughead left, I felt alone again. I headed over my window and was about to shout for him to stay longer, when my door burst open and my mother entered the room, "Do you not think I don't keep an eye on you?" She shrieked, "Inviting secret boyfriends over while your supposed to be grounded!"
"I'm sorry mum," I whimpered, "I was just lonely. Jughead is realy nice,"
"Well invite him around," she said, "let's see how nice he realy is,"
I was scared. What if Jughead made one of his sarcastic remarks?
