I loved the feeling when Betty snuggled in to me. It mande me feel wanted and warm. Also, I loved this place, it was my second home; the drive in. It was slightly awkward being with Betty's friend but every so often, when me and Betty kissed, I remembered why I agreed to come- for Betty. She had told me she loved me yesterday and it was the best feeling in the world,
"Jug," she said, "I'm going to get me and Kev drinks, want one?"
"Yes please," and then I remembered I'd be left with Kevin, "Actually, I'll come with you,"
"Such a gentleman," she laughed, "I'm going to pretend it isn't because you find it awkward staying with Kevin,"
I laughed, "You know me too well, Miss Cooper,"
"Get a room," Kevin groaned, and I wanted to punch him,
We headed towards the drink stand- there feet crunching on the cold gravel,
"Jug?" Betty said,
"Yep?"
"I love you," she said, "But this may be a big ask,"
"Anything," I replied
"Can I crash at yours, just until I'm ready to forgive my mum,"
"Well," I replied, "I was getting ready to ask you,"
"Thanks Jug," she said, kissing me
