"Happy birthday, Angel." Isabel shivers softly at the feel of Draco's soft lips and hot breath against her ear his fingers gently and discreetly trail up her arm as he straightens back up as you look up at him right as he flashes you a quick smile and sits down beside you."Thanks Draco." Isabel say with a soft smile as the great hall slowly starts to become more busy. "Hey, Isabel." pansy chirps as she sits down across from you plucking an apple from the center of the table. "happy birthday! took you long enough to catch up to the rest of us." she jokes with a small grin. as the seventh year of hogwarts approaches its end, most of the seventh years have already turned eighteen. Isabel's grin grows wider and wider as the table becomes more and more occupied. "Happy birthday's coming from all sides and from students of all years, Isabel is pretty well liked in the school but when you said to your friends really want a birthday party but your best friends draco, blaise, and pansy absolutely refused to accept something so stupid and so tonight in the slytherin common room, a party will be thrown for Isabel's birthday.
It's was the last class of the day and Draco walks into the classroom setting his books down on the desk. "Hey." Isabel says before he sits down next to you. "Hey oh." Draco says as his hand coming up to gently cup the side of her face. Isabel's stomach flutters and her eyes widen just slightly, but then he just rubs his thumb on her cheekbone before retracting his hand. "You had an eyelash." he clarifies, seeing the mildly confused look on her face. with a playful wink, the two of them turn back forward to the class. After class Draco and Isabel sit on the grass out in the courtyard. their last class of the day ended early, so they're one of the few students out there. they'll be joined by practically the rest of the school shortly but for the moment they're just enjoying each other's company Isabel sits with her back leaning against a tree. her legs are spread out in front of her, ankles crossed over each other and her skirt pulled down. it's be flying up and exposing her if not for Draco's head on her lap. he lays horizontally to her, his knees bent with a book open above his head, reading until Isabel said. "why did you chose the nickname Angel?" as a nickname for her, he lied and said. "I'm not sure why, but it suits you in every way." it wasn't entirely a lie after choosing the nickname for her but when he first chose it, he didn't know anything about her all he had were her looks her Snow White skin always looks soft, her hair is a mixture of curls and waves painted with strokes of blonde and caramel, her eyes are just a beautiful shade of bluebell with specks of gold, but Draco If he could he'd spend hours looking into them. "You're staring at me." Isabel laughs softly, Draco just smirks in response grateful he doesn't blush easily as rests his book on his chest. "I was just thinking." He says. "What were you thinking about?" Isabel asks, one of her hands coming down to brush the hair off of his forehead. "The party, and my gift for you." The first part a lie, his lips splitting into a small grin. "I think you'll like it." Isabel's eyes widen. "a gift? You're already throwing a party for me Dray, i don't need a g— I don't want to hear it." He interrupts with a stern look in his icy eyes. "I've already got it, and i'm not gonna return it. All you can do is accept it graciously and shut that pretty mouth of yours." internally, draco's eyes widen and hand slaps over his mouth when he realizes that he forgot to put his filter on (the filter he uses when he's talking to Isabel and doesn't want to scare her off), but he remains cool, Isabel on the over hand however blushes furiously averting her eyes to a little white daisy in the grass she moves her hand from his hair to the stem, pretending to take deep interest in it. "What is it?" Isabel asks softly. "You'll find out." Draco muses with a relaxed smile. "I'm giving it to you at your party. Please say it wasn't to much or expensive?" she asks warily, now frowning down at Draco plucking the daisy up and out of the grass he shrugs. "It wasn't to much and it wasn't that expensive at least not to me."her frown deepens. "how many galleons? I'm not telling you that." he chuckles softly, glancing up at Isabel fondly before shaking his head and picking his book back up off his chest "Why not?" You'll slap me if i do. "Isabel yanks his book out of his hands and playfully whacks him Draco crying out in protest before laughing softly at just how gently but dramatically she hit him with his book. "How much was it?! That doesn't matter." he tells her with a big grin lighting his face up as he snatches his book back from her with ease his face then goes mildly serious when he sees someone behind the tree making Isabel turn her head to see Blaise and Pansy coming up from behind them.she turns her head back to Draco as he puts his book back over his face scanning the same page over and over. "Hey guys." Blaise says as he and Pansy reach them, taking a seat next to Isabel and forcefully nudging Draco to move to make room for his legs Draco shoots him a scowl. "So what were you two talking about?" Pansy sings with laughter in her voice, plopping down on the other side of Isabel. "Apparently Draco has bought me something expensive." Isabel says somewhat sourly. "Didn't I tell you guys a
month ago that i didn't want anything! And didn't we tell you that that's unacceptable?" pansy retorts with a small smirk. "And besides other than the party Blaise and I listened, It's just Ferret boy. I've told you not to call me that." Draco says snapping at Pansy and Blaise when they practically buckle over in laughter but seeing the small smile on Isabel's face though makes his own face relax. "Besides the point I got it before you even said that. You did?" Isabel asks curiously. "He did." Blaise says making Isabel turn her head to look at him. "I was there. What is it?" Isabel asks eagerly. Draco shifts his book out of his way to send Blaise a small glare that speaks for him—tell her and i'll kill you. Blaise rolls his eyes. "I'm not telling you that you'll find out literally tonight stupid. Don't call the birthday girl stupid," pansy yells from the other side of Isabel. "Yeah whatever." Blaise shrugs. "Does two hundred thirty six galleons count as expensive?" Isabel literally chokes on her spit as she buries her face in the elbow coughing into her elbow, while Draco is flipping blaise off for telling Isabel he only gets an amused smirk from Blaise.
