YOUR POV:
I stood in line waiting to enter the venue. I was currently leaning against the wall waiting for Yashiro to show up. She had ended up getting me tickets to see my idol Hanako(stage name). I have been a big fan of him for almost a year now,Yashiro actually introduced me to him. People were talking about Hanako and how: 'oh this is my 8th Hanako concert', 'I want to marry Hanako!' Etc etc-good times,good times.
"Y/N!" I look to see Yashiro rushing over to me. "Sorry I'm so late. Kou lost some cleaning supplies." I shake my head"it's fine. How'd the cookies turn out?" She puts her hands behind her back"pretty nice...or so Kou said. I didn't get to try them." She frowns"that sucks." She pulls out her phone"the show starts in an hour and we're still waiting...do you think we won't make it in on time?" I shrug"not sure. Hope so. We still need to buy merch and find our seats." She nods and shoves her phone into her bag. "What are you hoping he plays?" She asks"not sure. I'll be fine with any of them." She nods"he has such a pretty voice."
"Next!" The security guy screams"please put your bags on the table. We do so and walk through the metal detector,both cleared. When we entered the hallways were packed with people and it was loud as well. My eyes widened"wow,wasn't expecting this many people." I admit"we should get into a merch line before his things sell out." I nod and we join the line. It took around 30 minutes before we could buy anything. I bought a tour shirt,a flag and a hoodie while Yashiro bought a tour shirt.
"Come on,let's go find out seats." I say heading up the steps"hey! Come here!" I turn and see her gesturing me to follow her. I give a confused look but follow her anyways. Next thing I knew was were in the pits and right there are the stage. "Holy sh*t! You didn't say we got pit tickets!" She giggles"I had to surprise you!" She pulls out her phone"it starts in about 30 minutes." She says"I wonder if he'll have an opening act." She mutters"probably. For someone as big as him I don't see why." The venue began to fill up quickly as the time got closer. A pit in my stomach had rose while we waited. All of a sudden,the lights shut off as people screamed. On the screens in the venue,a countdown from 10 minutes had started.
"I'm so nervous!" I exclaim"why? Shouldn't you be excited?" Yashiro asks next to me"I don't knowww!" The ten minutes seemed to drag on until the ten second mark.
"10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1!"
That's when the whole stadium went pitch black as the music faded in from one of Hanako's songs. All of a sudden,the lights came on and in front on stage,was Hanako himself. Everyone screamed as he began to sing one of his songs,the crowd sung along with him. The song had quickly come to an end as he spoke up. "Hello *insert location*! Thank you all so much for coming tonight!" The crowd screamed"I have a few things planned for tonight,but that'll have to wait for later! For now,please enjoy my song 'Isolated'!" (Isolated is a real song by The Ghost Club,i feel like Hanako would listen to them idk why)
Everyone screamed and jumped around to the music. The show had started to slow down towards the end of the concert. "Can everyone up at the stop please sit down?!" He said into the microphone"and then if you're in pit,well,that's fine. Don't sit,cuz you might die." He jokes as he walks over to the mic stand and slides the microphone in it. "We are nearing the end of the concert,and I would just like to thank everyone for coming out tonight. I know life can get hard sometimes and you just need a moment to relax and have fun,and I truly hope that tonight was that night for you all. I wouldn't have made it here without you all...so thank you. As everyone should know,I didn't grow up in a good household or even school wise. I was often bullied and beaten up. But truly happy that I found something that makes me happy as well as others." The crowd cheered for Hanako after he said his speech.
"For my last trick for tonight,I need a volunteer to come on stage with me." He then walks away from the microphone and comes closer to the end of the stage. His eyes scan the crowd,I was secretly hoping he wouldn't choose me. I mean,I love Hanako but I'd probably just make a fool out of myself. "How about the girl,right there!" He yells pointing to me. My eyes widened as I shake my head"n-no! I-I can't!" I tell him as everyone pushes me forward. One of the security guards helps me over the barrier and lifts me on stage and Hanako helps me up.
"There,see! You did it!" I look to see Hanako smiling at me. "Ah...!" I felt my cheeks burn as I looked to Yashiro for help,but she seemed jealous herself. He then grabs my hand and brings me over towards the mic. "You can sit anywhere." He tells me"or even stand,your choice." I nod and puts his hands on the mic stand"alright,so,for the last song of the night I am going to play 'Hey There Rose'." The crowd cheered as the music faded in.
"Hey there Rose..."he starts to sing. I start to sway back and forth as he sings. Half way during the song he picks the mic up and walks over to me and grabs my hand. My cheeks start to burn as he does so. I know that the song wasn't about me,but it felt like it was. I know in a interview they asked about it and all he said was 'oh I wanted to challenge myself with a love song'. So really,it could be about anyone. I shake my head. Y/N,he doesn't even know your name! Stop thinking this is about you,you're not the protagonist! This was just a situation where the side character gets their chance to shine. Yes that's how I thought.
Once the song fades out he let go of my hand and bowed. "IM HANAKO! HAVE A GOOD NIGHT!" He then grabbed my hand and ran off stage. "W-Where are you taking me?!" I exclaim as I follow him backstage. "I brought you on stage because you looked so nervous out of everyone else. Everyone else was so excited when I got closer to the pit,but you weren't. I-I'm sorry if i singled you out in anyway,that wasn't my intention." I shake my head"n-no it's fine." He claps his hands together"that's great! Oh,do you wanna exchange numbers?"
This is the most wattpad experience I've ever had.
