act 4: the arrival on namek

The fight between Son goku and Vegeta was ended with Vegeta's slight superiority as a giant ape, but thanks to Bardock's intervention the worst had been avoided.
  A long time ago a namek had arrived on earth and it is divided into two different entities the first was the almighty kami and the second was piccolo but with the death of piccolo in the fight Kami also died some moment after the crystal balls  had been changed to stone therefore unusable.
